did I miss some extra good whining?
i have no whines worth posting....everything is fine, if I don't have a voracious appetite, it's no huge concern.....the cats are quiet, the neighbors are not asking for favors, my one neighbor is newly preggers...we share Carlos the gardner....she can whine all she wants to...she's pregnant, works full time in Princeton as a paralegal, has a dumb-ass husband and a 2 year old...OY! all she needs are her inlaws to come and drive her nuts.
I would offer to bury them under my deck......

Party A (sponsee), said something to Party B, Party c overheard it,
Party D got the tailend, Party B told Party E, Party E mentioned it to me...
i was shocked, and appaluled!
went back to Party One to get the facts (a program of rigourous honesty)
went back to Party B for clarity, what Party B told party E was misconstrued by Party E,
now i cant wait for the chicken in new york, to become an advark in Sheboygan,
and poor Party C is still confused!

It was perfectly clear to me, Least.... 
Had my meeting with one of the guys,
And a new worker I've never met before.
Laid it *all* out for them, including the well pump that needs replacing due to them.
Most of all, he tried to explain away or reject. No answer at all to the well, except, "I didn't know about it." Well, buddy, I'm TELLING YOU NOW!
Then, he gave me a totally bogus list of added expenses.
We *have* a contract.
He denied it.
Then said it was only verbal.
I reminded him that a verbal contract was binding. And that he refered to the contract before, "In [my] handwriting." He admitted to the verbal contract and denied knowing anything at all about a written one.
I went through his list.
They were charging me for things not done! HA! Scratch off list!
Even his own worker said they weren't done!
Charging me for things that were clearly part of the contract! Scratch!
Double charging me for the same thing - worded differently! Scratch!
Charging me for things that were necessary as part of the contracted job. Scratch!
Then, clearly over-charging for things.
And charging me for things I *never* asked them to do, nor did I *want* them to do!
I told him he was trying to nickle and dime me to death, and it wasn't going to happen!
I also told him I should have been told - UPFRONT - what the costs were.
And that his brother, who didn't show up, had no right to make suggestions and not mention costs, when we clearly had a CONTRACT, while he continued to say, "we're not going to nickle and dime you to death, Deb."
He then began to say that they weren't going to charge me. I told him that they already *said* I was over budget, and they aren't even *near* finished! BS!
We left it were I am going to sleep on it tonight. I'll call him tomorrow. I was far too upset to talk anymore about it tonight. Enough was enough.
He *will* pay for my well pump and installation. And I had four pages of problems I discussed with him. That will be more than his "over budget" BS.
Not a good day at school today either. Drunk kid in class. He admitted it to the other kids. And he BS'd his way out of it with administration, cuz he "insisted" he wasn't and that he was in my class the period *before* he was supposed to be! (No, he wasn't, and I told them so!) But, heck. Believe the drunk kid, not the teacher with 24 years experience! What else is new today! :wtf2:

Teach, I hope the contractors makes good for you. I hate how they change once the work begins.
Zipperman, reminds me of the childhood game where you whisper something and pass it around the circle and it never comes back the same way it went out. I hate gossip, and have learned to pay it no nevermind. I KNOW the truth, and today that's good enough for me. If it's not about me, then it's not about me.
OZ, hope you're feeling better, life always seems more dysfunctional when I'm not well.

Had no internet or email connection this morning!! 
Finally thought to unplug the router and modem and then turn back on - voila! 
Funny how I panic when I don't have my computer up and running!!
Getting a desperately needed haircut today - no more shaggy dog look for me!
