Heavyn, my students are older and doing clinical rotations....they go all year, staring in July with only 2 weeks off.....the tuition is currently 25K per semester, plus books! med. school ain't cheap!
I am HAPPY to report that I am showing my rental property this week!!!! the place has been vacant since last July and we are about a year away from selling the albatross.

every year, my med students absolutely RUIN my summer...because although I get 6 weeks of vacation, I can't take time off!!!
I keep muttering my mantra..."atleasttheyarepayingmeovertime"....so I will just pay the bills and save the extra $$ towards my next remodelling project....after the furnace and AC compressor comes the 2nd bathroom... i dream of a deep air-jet whirlpool tub and teaching the cats to "swim".....
my master bath came out beautiful...used a sandy color tile and "blue labrador" granite both in the shower and counter, pewter brush look fixtures....it looks like JEWELRY,

the rental property (my mothers 2 family that was transferred to us) does not have granite...that's just MY little bathroom....my friend is also my contractor and he happens to be a stone mason, he does remodelling for a living....he does beautiful work, I just give him the keys to my house, his GF and I are neighbors and friends.
after we sell my mother's place, i will revamp my kitchen....which had a mini-facelift in 1995.

I think for the 2nd bathroom i'm going to put in one of those "vessel sinks"....my nephew did it and it looks REALLY new and fresh....besides, I don't use the main bath very often, so it is for re-sale value....I looked at overstock.com, they have a ton of cheap selections.
I am fidgety today. Restless and yet can't settle into anything.
Nothing wrong, just fidgety.
Oh, yeah, and making some phone calls I need to make...and nobody is there. I left messages and we know they will all call back just as I nestle into a good movie or something tonight.

Exactly, Ann re: the callbacks. Loved the Ernestine pics - can still recall that nasal smirk tone.
...speaking of movies, did anyone see the Lois Wilson movie last night "When Love is not Enough" - depending on your time zone, hemisphere, when it was, or will be shown?
My movie critic whine is that I liked the commercials better (and I despise commercials - especially local auto dealer commercials, they should be outlawed they're so moronic).
The movie was sponsored by Hallmark cards so all of the commercials were from Hallmark and I thought they were excellent.
So I stayed up for 2 hours to watch commercials.

and sometimes a GOOD LAUGH is great medicine in itself....
my old personal trainer sent that to me....I miss her, she moved out of state, she was the best success story for older women....they told her she would be in a wheelchair from surgery....6-7 years later she was competing in natural body-building at age 43!

Awesome, Fandy! Beyonce got nuttin' on those ladies!
Did ya catch the chin hairs on the close up of the blonde? Couldn't help but remember that saying...
I refuse to call them chin hairs - I prefer to think of them as stray eyebrows.
Rock on!
