Me too, Fandy,
But,
I'm not FIRST!!! :>(
Ozy!
Thanks for the lyrics!
Major whine now...
My neighbor bought girl scout cookies. Too many of them.
See, I just give them money. I do my good deed.
But, I *don't* want the cookies!
Cuz, I don't want to eat them!
I'm trying to *lose* weight!
So, she bought too many, and
Yep, she brought some over here....
I told her I don't want them, and she said,
"Well, bring them to school for the kids."
These are Thin Mints!
Do you really think these cookies made it to school?
That is what I *should* have done!
But, one good thing happened today...
My report from the chiropractor came out good.
And, while we were talking,
He asked me if I would be interested in
a part time position promoting him in the community.
It would be easy, and wouldn't involve too much time.
It could work up to a full time thing, but, I don't think so, really.
We're going to talk some more about it.
Now, another cookie is calling...
Shalom!

Whine...already 11 posts to the new thread. I'm just catching up with the cake in the rain. I remember swinging on the swings and listening to my little transister radio. I remember them playing it over and over. I hate that song to this day. It was the over and over again on my new radio! I think there was only 1 good station in town at the time.
Ananda,
LTT,
I used to *love* my transistor radio! I'd sit on the bus on the way to school, and just sing along to the songs, passing the time. And at the beach, getting fried, listening to the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones, etc... Yea, those *were* the days!
Trying to finish progress report grades today. Still have to pick up my things from my old school. Going to a high school today, at least; to the classroom of an old friend of mine. That always makes it easier, when I tell kids that their teacher is a friend of mine! LOL!
My belly hurts. I ate too many cookies last night...
Time to get ready for work. *sigh*
Have a whiny day!
Shalom!

It works if you whine it, so whine it you're worth it.
Ann, I have never had those tests & am way past due. I had a dear friend die of colon cancer with very little warning. What more do I need to know? So, this is my whine: I am a coward when it comes to being poked and probed.
I remember my tiny transistor too - would hide under the covers with it when I was supposed to be asleep, and pull in Philadelphia stations.
