Oh... I'll check that out, thank you. I was putting myself in a game blackout... can't tell you why.

Being stubborn, I suppose... if I can't watch it, then I won't find out a thing about it.

I remember someone telling something about cutting off noses to spite faces...

I have been watching the Olympics a little, but my wife watches them more than me. She loves the ice skating (go figure.) They are entertaining, and I certainly like them better than the summer Olympics.

Well, I just bought a new PC. We have been limping ours along for a couple years at home because I just didn't want to buy a new one. I had no idea what to get. Well, we took it in to get it fixed and they said it is beyond repair. Luckily, I talked to a friend of mine and he asked me what I wanted to use it for, and he sent me a link and said "here, buy this one." haha. He made it so easy for me. I won't get it for about 3 weeks as they have to build it, but I am pretty excited now that it is over and done.

I love Apollo Ohno too...but, I really like Shaun White, just something about him and his enthusiasm.

Nope Anew, not a laptop. I have one now, and I just really want a desktop I think. Something I can set up on a computer desk in the family room and just have a nice family computer. Something I can leave all of the stuff plugged into, and not have to be disconnecting things all the time.

Brent, why is going to take 3 weeks to get your computer? They have to BUILD it? I wanted to get one, too. You know my desktop is from 1997 and I need a new one, but I can't wait 3 weeks (I am too impatient!!!)

Yeah, not sure TJ. It just says estimated ship date of March 11th when I checked out. So maybe not 3 weeks, more like 2 weeks. But it is 7 day shipping, so about three weeks total. I really didn't want to wait either, but I think you get much more for your money doing it this way. I looked at Best Buy, and they are much more there for the same machine. So if you can wait, I think it is a better value.

Hi Brent --- I looked, too. Ship date is 3/25 for me. I didn't order it yet... lots of options, aren't there? I may go to Target tonight and just check out what they have in stock. But then again, I may end up ordering what you did.

That is the problem TJ, everyone has an opinion when it comes to this sort of deal. Everyone with a computer becomes an "expert." haha. And what I did notice was at dell.com different machines have different ship dates.

The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

That is the official one I DID order. My total came to about $650. I ordered a larger screen and some speakers. I would order quickly, as this has changed even since yesterday. Hope this helps. And you will notice the ship date is March 11th.

What color did you get??? I was thinking purple.

Well, I may order after I go shopping tonight. I definitely need a new one. Can't believe how old the one we have is. It may not be 1997, but it's old. Will let you know!!!

I just did standard black TJ. I didn't want to pay the extra $20 for something that doesn't really matter. Just my preference. I am sure you will do something "girlie" though. haha.
