Hello all, I just joined the site and found this wonderful thread.

My first whine is (conveniently) that I need to post five times before I can PM and 15 before I can join a group! Outrageous!

well that's one less post I need.

Welcome to the Whiner thread, Newcomers, you have come to a good place where all whines are heard, where we get to laugh at ourselves while cursing the world's insanity...because Whiners are Winners!!!

And no makeup, and bunny slippers, yes? Bad hair is a prerequisite and a dye job gone wrong is a bonus!!

My name is Ann and I am a Whiner.

Nope, bunny slippers are the comfort slippers and turkey just would not do.

Rainy Thursday here, good excuse to stay in and lolligag and work on my whines.

Ohhhhhh, Mocha caramel cheesecake for breakfast?
I could do that!

And, somehow, Ann, I just knew you'd nix the bannana pudding!

Zip, I love the car!

IO, I am *totally* up for a slumber party! :ghug2

Shalom!

the good news - i'm getting A LOT of cookie orders.

the bad news - the whole process of taking orders is getting very complicated ..

remind me next year to something simple, like weaved pot holders!

There will be a batch for us whiners, pleeeeze.

Now see, if you lived here I would be your new best customer. That`s another one of the things Queeny just doesn`t do...baking.

It`s not that I`m too good to bake, it`s that I am so bad at it I don`t even try. When I took Home Economics in high school, my teach promised to pass me, if I promised only to stir and touch nothing else...and promise to switch to music the next semester.

Good luck on this cookie business, I just KNOW Martha Stewart will be calling you for your recipes...make her pay dearly for them!!

I have a few minor whines and a mega-whine too.

Minor whine-a-roonies are:
1. I'm in the process of decaffeinating myself (again) and am having headaches. It's hard to believe that just two cups in the am can do this to me; but it's true.

2. My daughter in law had a health scare yesterday which turned out to be nothing. (whew) But...until we knew all the test results I was 'skeered.'

3. It's too cool here now to jump in the ocean---yet it's hot enough that I really, really want to; not to mention a few shark sitings and a wicked undertow putting a damper on things as well.

now for the major whine:

Y'know what? this one is a real Whine-a-pa-looza.

#4. My dear mr cmc is not well. He's have a MS exacerbation, which is a very serious thing...and get this....it's happening during his vacation! (go figure) What this means is we will have a home healthcare nurse here tomorrow to start treatments for it. I've written more details in CIR.

Favorite word: Whine-ku

The word lolligag:
As fun to pronounce as to
actually do.

(((CMC))) Special Whiner hugs and a whole bunch of whiner prayers...God loves a whiner, ya know?

I wish my mama was here. When she said "It will be okay" it always was. So I'll say it for her "It will be okay".

Whiny, scratchy, lolligagging hugs :ghug3

Midge...

You have had a storm of whines...

Sometimes when it rains, it does pour, doesn't it?

Prayers for Mr. CMC... :praying:

Take care of yourself too, and may you both find calm in the eye of the storm.

Sis)))
