btw....some ladies refer to them as their 'personal summer' but I prefer 'power surge' because... well...it feels empowering.

I guess that amounts to a bit of a whine doesn't it??? ty to kev for the perspiration...uh--um....duh...I mean: the "inspiration!" and helping to bring about a dormant whine I needed to share here.

Thanks Ann, I have been thinking the same but just frightened that the vet will want to put him down. Not going to act out of fear so I will take him in on Monday

You get to say, Kevin, not the vet. My cat Toby had about 18 lives and survived all sorts of things. Hope your doggy fella does too.

People at work suck...especially one of my superiors. I had to explain that I have depression, which makes me tired, that I'm on two meds for depression, which makes me tired, and I'm on a beta blocker, which also makes me tired. I have my good days and bad days...I do a pretty good job of hiding my emotions, but I can't hide the fatigue. When it's there I can only go so fast.

I don't think she understands or believes me. Before I had to explain my situation she had an attitude of 'so what' when I told her I was tired. She complained about how she has 4 kids to take care of (not my fault...she's the one who had sex and didn't use protection) and her back hurts and she's still moving fast. Good for her...I'd love to have her energy. She can take my depression...I don't want it.

That IS early, Kevin, because it's still Saturday night here.

I have a whine, a big one, well it is for me. My favourite dessert in the whole world is Creme Brulee (yes even more than cheesecake, so you know how important this is to me, yes?). Creme Brulee is a delicate custard topped with a crisp carmelized sugar layer and maybe a dab of whipped cream with one strawberry or fruit piece in it. But it's all about the custard and carmelized sugar topping. It is NOT, I repeat NOT, banana pudding with carmelized sugar on top. That may LOOK like Creme Brulee, but it isn't. Not even close. It's freakin' banana pudding!!!

Now that may seem trivial to whine over Creme Brulee imposters, but this IS Whiners Anonymous and I knew you would all understand.

Ok, my whine.

I finally went to the chiropractor.
Cuz the physical therapist was going to take me another week to get into!
(and I've been there before for the same problem!)

So, I go to the chiropractor.
He doesn't do any manipulations, like I thought he would.
It was an evaluation, to see if I was a "fit" for the manipulations.
Well, ok. He explained a whole lotta stuff.
Yadda, yadda, yadda.

I hurt.
I want to feel better.
It's almost two weeks I haven't slept through the night due to this pain!
So, he decides I am a fit.

But, his evaluation consists of hitting me at *every* hurting place in my back!!!!
I hurt so much last night.....I can't begin to describe it.....

I have an appointment with him on Monday for the first manipulation.
He was surprised to learn that I've been dealing with this for 8-10 years already - not constantly, but, when it's triggered by something.
He says he can help.
I hope so.
