I see its time already for a new part, WOO HOO.
LIS, I just love Joan of Arcadia, every time you mention it, I start to miss it. I don't know why they took it off the air, I don't like her new show.

When it was on the air, I liked it, but I can't say that I saw ALL of the episodes (then again, that was during a period where I wasn't focused on much of anything other than my own gratification...
...but this winter, we got the DVD, boxed set and I was GLUED to the TV. It has so many layers and is so provocative...Who is God, anyway? Isn't he/she/it everywhere working through people? Just becasue an experience might not have an immediate impact, like a drop of water on a pond, the ripples just keep spreading....What is faith and why is it crucial....When does self-will collide with acceptance?
I was talking with my therapist about how much I had gotten from it and why and he said I should check out 6 Feet Under. I did and was not impressed. In fact, at our next session, I suggested that we change seats
I dunno...there are a few books and movies that have hit me at just the right time (speaking of God...) and this was definitely one of them.
As for canceling the show...it's my fault. Whenever I like ANYTHING, *poof*, it's discontinued!!!

And I do love it, if I wasn't getting in trouble, I wouldn't be having fun.
This morning I got into my car to leave for work and went to light a cigarette and all of a sudden XANAX popped into my head, I was thinking I sure could use some Xanax right now.
I immediately called my sponsor. That was the first time in 11 mths sobriety that it came to mind. This disease is so damn sly, just waiting for the right moment to say remember me!!!! There was no urge to use, just a fleeting thought, very very uncomfortable feeling.

Thanks to everyone for understanding the situation.
This iis a Newcomers forum. It is the goal of Dee and I to keep this a safe place for newcomers. It is our goal to have any and all newcomers feel comfortable here.
