The rain in Jersey has stopped, still very humid though.
I thought Retail therapy = Shopping lol, damn I miss those days of shopping, they will be back again, hopefully soon.
Glad you are making a meeting later Tanya, they just get me in the right frame of mind. I love forgetting the world for that hour, its like all the outside world and all the stuff that goes on with it just vanishes while in a meeting.

Another sober day nearly over, I had a bit of energy today for a change and got some stuff done, nothing major, just nice to be able to do things without feeling exhausted or my head in agony.
I did some retail therapy too, bought a portable hard drive and also saw a camera reduced to £10, I should be able to make some cash on Ebay with it. It is worth about £40 or more.

I bought a PSP a couple of weeks back Stoney, fantastic fun.
Been playing Tiger woods golf on it lots, trouble is, its so easy to stick in yer pocket to play anywhere.
Think I may have given myself an RSI from it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't tempt me! I am in a retail therapy kinda mood!
I was looking at them online and fancied them, I'd a bit of spare cash from when my work moved me a few months back I'd not spent.
Went into GAME and they had a 2nd hand one for £60, bought a whole load of preowned ( posh word for 2nd hand) games as well.
Its a PSP3000 which is the new one, but my one is a 2000, not that I know the difference.
New games are like £30 but prewned ones start as cheap as £2.99.
eg Tiger Woods Golf 2009 £34.99 Tiger Woods Golf 2007 £2.99 !!!!!!!!!
If your a crack gamer then maybe but for messing about with.
Needless to say I bought the older cheaper versions of things and I'm having great fun.

chunks of color. Awesome. Love it...I left it long, but the cut is "swingy...nice.

Good for doing what your sponsor suggests. Yeah..that's the ticket! A face to face
person can save you in a rough spot. I am so glad for you..as keith said.

asking for your prayers
At ck's insistance I am going to MN tomorrow to visit eldest daughter and family for nine days. I am very anxious about being away from home so long but ek will be glad to see me and i only get to visit them once a year.
I am asking for your prayers for a safe flight there and back and being able to relax and enjoy myself. Thank you.:ghug3

Hi my sweet friends!
As I scrunch down into the chair and take a long sip of my Diet Dr Pepper, I want to tell you how much I missed all of you! I have read all the posts, but a blanket "thanks" will have to do! Hope no one minds...
So, we got home Tues (well, weds actually) at 1:30 am and yesterday was filled with restocking the fridge, catching up with the girls and...drum roll, please...doing my 4th Step with my NEW sponsor (the one I told you all about)!!!! I just love her...we have much in common (which is good), but many differences as well (which is ALSO good). I had written it while we were away. Honestly, Least (and Stoney), it isn't as bad as I feared. One of my workbooks likens it to cleaning house: sort of looking at what's there and deciding what you want to keep and what you want to discard. I'm an avid writer anyhow and had done a lot of soul searching this winter. But it was a relief to tell someone (other than my family) of my plusses and minuses...particularly to another alcoholic. We hooted over some of our similar "schemes" and altho I have known this woman for quite a while, the honesty and bonding were liberating. Tomorrow, I will read her "my story" and we'll go from that onto resentments...I was so worried about her expectations and my fears, but I finally just threw up my hands ( Bee and jumped without thinking (like you all suggested). I had FAITH that it would be OK and that I would get what I needed.
So...um, other than THAT, I have decided on a new "me", in terms of style and bought some fun clothes while away. I 'm into long and flowy...so I have lots of gauze skirts and sari skirts, fun capris, and lots of belts (I've decided that I'm into belts). I think I'm reliving my hippy days!!! When I was active, clothes just covered my body (and a lot of black, I might add). Now, I'm a rainbow of colors and that feels suited to my SPIRIT....
So, my dear friends, I'm glad to be back among you and have a computer that's normal sized!
Love to you all!!!
