Hey Scott good luck with your surgery. Nice doc you have - hoping you make it through and all LOL what a moron! Dr. Feel Good indeed! Are you having a hernia operation? What kind is yours? The hernia, I mean? I hear they take good care of you after - I knew a man who was treated like a prince after having his hernia operated on. Mine so far doesn't cause any significant problems. Will you be in contact with anyone in your area who is on SR and could let us know if you pulled through? Bad joke -- sorry.
Anyway - I cleaned like a madwoman tonight. Cleaned the car, the windows, the floors, the kitchen, the bathroom. Daughter and I just took a break (she has been a terrific help) for dinner (pasta and fresh croissants yummmmmmmy) and will do another 30 mins worth of stuff. We will be up early to pack - wedding is tomorrow - nearly 3 hours away.
ROAD TRIP! Woot! I'll probably be on tomorrow night - gonna bring my laptop.
Hugs everyone!

asking for prayers for my beagirl
I was awakened several times during the night by my elderly beagirl. She must have a urinary infection, cause she's peeing constantly. Even peed on my floor last night. I got a specimen and am taking her to my loving vet this morning. I told them I had no money to pay the bill til early JUne, but he's seeing her anyway. Asking for prayers that she gets well soon. She's almost 13 yrs old and I've had her for 11 yrs and don't want to lose her yet.
I'm worried sick about her so would greatly appreciate your prayers for her speedy recovery.
If I weren't sober now I might not even have noticed her constant peeing.

Scott, good luck with the surgery mate.
Donna, I think you might have my headache, I don't have one today, yay!
Least, I hope your dog is OK.
Hi Scoob!
It is 4pm here, I have been awake since 6am. I talked to my hunni on Skype for an hour or two and then my sponsor came at 10am for the step 1 review, it was exactly like I knew it would be....straight from the book. Doctors opinion, allergy, craving, milk in whiskey, Jaywalker etc. Basically the first 43 pages of the BB minus Bills story which we agree wasn't necessary and was just there to feed Bill's ego, lol.
My homework is to read the first 43 pages including preface's, highlighting the bits salient to me and summarising each paragraph in a word or two.
He is doing the step review from the standpoint of refreshing my knowledge of the steps to enable me to take someone else through them, BB style.
Of course, I get the added benefit of a refresher (for me) as we go along.
Then I went to a meeting! lol

These are the second round of hurneas. They are all on a suture line from numerous surgeries back in 93-95. At least these arent the deadly ones called incarcerated hurnias. But because of all my clean living and staying in shape they have to rebuild the abdominal wall. My surgeon scares me a little.
Seriously, Anybody wanna be a healthcare proxy ?
My old man says he doesnt want to do it.

Stoney, sounds like you had a very productive day, YAY
I don't do headaches well!!!!! Eating chocolate to try to get rid of it, ha ha
Old beagirl did have a UTI and was given antibiotics for ten days. My vet is so good. I've been bringing my animals to his clinic for at least 20 yrs and have never been disappointed or upset with him or his partner vet. Both are kind and understanding and professional and I think the world of them.
