By the way Stone, I was so excited to see you say the obsession had been removed.

Thanks Jen, until today I hadn't had one thought of drinking for the whole 30+ days I have been sober. Even when the thought occurred I recoiled from the idea, so that's OK.

But yea, I do feel different, it's great. Step 10 promise come to pass maybe?

PS
I am still wary though!

I think it was the depression combined w (a depressant) continued drinking that landed me in multiple hospitals because I was literally drinking meself to death. Couldnt see life continuing the way it was that finally got me to stop.
I need to remember this. The depression seems to have lifted quite a bit from last week. I think it was something in the coffee at the meetings or somtin.

Im a little (mebby alot) overwhelmed w all the paperwork I have to fill out this week. Not to mention the bills I overlooked last week w my head up my butt w depression.
At least it wasnt just me w that last week anyway.

I ?NEED a vacation. I think I have forgotten what the word even means.
I will never prolly have a house of my own anyway.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
2 teaspoons canola oil
1/2 cup water
1 envelope reduced-sodium taco seasoning
1 can (32 ounces) V8 juice
1 jar (16 ounces) salsa
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 package (10 ounces) frozen corn, thawed
6 tablespoons reduced-fat cheddar cheese
6 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
Directions:
In a large nonstick skillet, saute chicken in oil until no longer pink. Add water and taco seasoning; simmer until chicken is well coated.
Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the V8 juice, salsa, beans and corn. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through. Serve with cheese, sour cream and cilantro.
Everything sounds good K. I might omit the V8 and use more tomatoes though... use the extra veggies you mentioned.
