Nice cat Stone. Dexter finale, huh Gyps? I must get that downloaded today.

How are you all? Hope you are all well. I'll be back on later tonight, get ready for some spicy punch (non-alcoholic ) and Xmas carols.

Paul that's a beauty of a pic of Daisy! Such clarity!

K - the pretzels sound great. The chocolate covered peanut butter cherry balls? Not so much.

I believe there is a guy who goes to my regular meeting who is into photography so I am gonna talk to him when I see him.

oh shite! i forgot to go see the zombies yesterday! shite shite shite!

it was almost 50 degrees here yesterday, and really windy. mr k put a bunch of lights out on our bushes and fence and about half of them blew away. the ones that are left are frozen to the ground, cuz today it's like 6.

gotta love our winter!

Hi Guys

I just wrote in my Cat blog on here. It's been since Jan since i wrote in it. A new person wrote in it and i forgot all about that Blog. I told them they could come over on the Newcomers forum and introduce themselves. I also updated my cats story since it looks like people are still reading it. LOL

Stone- Love the duck pictures and your cat Daisy. I had a cat named Daisy when I was a kid. LOL

my friend the photographer, i've known him since i was high school. he's about 5 or so years older than me. he quit drinking in 1983. his parents were both alcoholics, and he got it too he bought a bar in 1980 (bad bad idea) and that was his bottom. he'd go to a 24 hour bar and drink BEFORE he opened his bar at noon. he ended up in all kinds of tax trouble, and had a bankruptsy. he said at the end he drank a case of beer a day, along with other stuff. he did aa for the first year or so, and then quit going. but he lives by a lot of the principles, and has never had a taste of alcohol since. he's got a good life now, a solid career and a lot of interests besides his camera stuff. he golfs and bowls and even still plays some hockey with some older guys that can't kill him. the only thing he had to give up after he quit was throwing darts. he says he could never throw a dart again after he quit - he sucked at it sober and it really triggered him.

he's been a big help to mr k and i with daughter. and that's the story of my friend. ha! a good recovery story, i think.
