I think venison is ok unless its been eating pine needles
but moose is really good, the stuff I ate was more tender than any black angus steak Ive ever had and had a better flavor
I have heard Elk is really good too

Morning everyone. I'm still cobwebby from being sick and taking Robaxacet. My back is shot .. drove in with a co-worker today who lives nearby .. we do this on 'snow days' - we are expecting another 15-25 cms today ...

Hello everyone
Meet my little puppy. She is a little bit bigger now than in this picture, but still cute a a button. Her name is Sandy. She hangs out with my other 2 older dogs and is keeping the young.

When I was wee the wood behind where my parents live was part of a shooting estate, every 2nd saturday throughout the season there would be a shoot taking place.
We'd always get a brace of pheasants handed in, so probably had pheasant for tea about once a week.
I used to moan cos, although I like it now, I got sick of having Pheasant all the time.
Looking back, no wonder all the other kids thought I was right posh !!!!
I go to theres for tea and we get fish fingers, they come to mine and get pheasant !!!!!!!!!!

I was in England and found that I would need a landowners permission to fish so I never got to do that but maybe someday.
At this point, with my driving record, I dont think I will ever be able to hunt or shoot again. At least not in Massachusetts. They dont smile upon giving a gun permit to people who get caught for drunk driving. The wreckage....ugh.
IO - bugging me ?
Life, I guess. I am over a year clean and sober and I still cant remember things like I should. Just beating myself up because I screwed up the date of my liscense appeal hearing and missed it.
I called this morning and they were able to reschedule it, but it wont be for at least a month. Nothing I could really do and I suppose that another month isnt as bad as it could be. I waited 12 weeks for it originally.
