My memory is that the British drink hot water with milk and beer with the chill taken off it through out the story, Asterix and his mob were downing magic potion which I'm starting to believe is actually absinthe or cinamen aftershock or something with ice cold lager chasers the whole time.
Apart from Obelix cos hell fell into the cauldren as a baby, yea yea yea a likely story son, just in denial thats all you are.

The. Travel&Nature,Nature,Webcam,Entertainment,Funny Cats,our town is giving away free firewood on saturdays while supplies last. me and mr k each did a trunkload yesterday. i'm very sore this morn from lugging it from the driveway to the back yard.
had a lovely fire last night though. so worth it! rented "get smart" - ha! stupid!goin' down to the city today with all the girls on mr k's side to see the play version of dirty dancing...it's gotten so so reviews, but a fun girl's day out is a nice treat. and i'm gonna get ticks for mary poppins while i'm there, and that's the one i really want to see! i wish my daughter was here to join us today. i miss her a lot on sundays, as that is when i could usually see her.

Getting buried in snow here .. my sis took me out for breakfast - my back is already sore and I've yet to dig out. It's really pretty out but the snow is very wet and heavy. I am still sick. I held down my breakfast but just barely. I feel like I am walking around in a fog.

I'm feeling better Sis - but my back is really bad after shovelling the drive.
I took a Robaxacet earlier today because back was in spasm - and I got that cobwebby feeling in my head - i gotta be careful taking those pills, and only when absolutely necessary.
We got 10 cms of snow and are expecting another 15-25 tonight yippee

Send some of that snow down here. All the folks who build houses and such who are out of work could use it to pay for the upcoming holidays by plowing us all out !!

Due to dealing with all kinds of other beauocracy and other paperwork that was supposed to be done by a third party (my Dr and Insurance Co) I missed my appeal hearing (to get my driver's liscense reinstated) that took 12 weeks and $50 to get !!!
