Scott - sorry to hear that your brother has continued with his tirade. I think it's a good idea to not respond. Try not to take it personally - even when I can intellectually see that something isn't my fault, sometimes I internalize my feelings and they become shame or self-doubt. I think you are doing great and should be proud of yourself. Keep working on your recovery!

I have a better life today regardless of what he thinks and says. I have a roof over my head, food in the fridge and my cat is happy. I dont have to drink or drug over my feelings about the situation and him as I have done in the past.
Just have to hug you for that one.... :ghug3:

Thanksgiving is turning out to be a disaster already, but at least I didnt cause it this time.
Thanks for all your kind words. I talked w my sponsor (who is turning out to be a bit of a conservative /spineless something or other...) and some other members in recovery and they all say the same thing, that it isnt me ! Good to know...
Im trying not to take his inventory too much ! LOL Its just his answers to some of my bizzare life questions I ask. He really is a pretty decent guy. Im just insane and proud !
Im used to voluteering at the shelters and kitchens and having my place be a home for little wanderers......Usually, I enjoy it more since there is no family drama. There is nothing I like better than to have some people to my messy yet humble abode and sit around all fat and happy after they eat my food ! Complimenting the Chef of course.....just what my beaten and down trodden ego needs at the holidays !
MY effin smileys are busted AGAIN !!! WTF ??!!

Read my wee lad a great bedtime story tonight, all about Nora's ark.
Story of Noah's sister, only her ark was bigger and better and had far more animals in it.
Noah was jealous though and put some woodworms in it making it sink and thats how comes some animals are extinct today.

As I would have thought everybody knew, fizzy water, also known as sparkling water,carbonated water and seltzer, is plain water into which carbon dioxide gas has been dissolved, and is the major and defining component of most soft drinks. The process of dissolving carbon dioxide gas is called carbonation. It results in the formation of carbonic acid (which has the chemical formula H2CO3).
Its pretty basic really, just glad I could help I guess !!!!!!!!!!!!
