Hiya groupies.
I have been feeling depressed and had thoughts of using. I'm NOT going to use. But I just hate it when these feelings come up.
I just needed to get that out.
Going to a meeting in a little while.

hey butter...I'm gonna check out your posts I hear so much about...skipping my meeting tonight as I don't want to drive after dark without turn signals....still getting plenty of meetings a week though....

One of the few heavier tunes I actually like !
Used to sing it @ the corporate jungle while I was in a mine field of cubicles sorting out some corporate idiots pc issues or crawling around on the floor dragging CAT-5 cableing (network) looking for an active port.......

I knew I recognised those lyrics...guy drives me a little nutz tho'
course that doesnt take much since Im nutz already.
But, Im kinda proud of it at the same time. I just wouldnt be me if I wasnt a little crazy !
I talked to Gyps - she sounded really good and was at friends house. Said she really misses posting but still has to withstand for obvious personal reasons. Had to cut it a little short as my ride to a meeting was calling.
One of my AA friends got out of the hospital today and was MIA all day but apparently safe and sound and enjoying being home w her Katz......
I know when I got out of the hospital once, I just couldnt handle the lonliness and new freedom so what did this alkie addict do ??- I DRANK AND USED. What an idiot. 10 days of hell and almost seeing a little hope and immediately went back to the old ways. I truley hope I never have to go through that again.
I really guess I belong here but now Im a clean and sober Idiot !
I actually helped a newcomer and told him to call ANY time. I usually dont do that but we really connected due to the similarities in our past and present lives....
This thread is still TOO SLOW !!!!
I want it to be back on newcomers with some kind of disclaimer if that what it takes so that newcomers know we are just looney idiots helping each other stay somewhat sane and sober !

I remember once I got trashed at a bar and met some guy - he was the local headbanger and I was convinced he was Axel Rose and chatted him up for an hour. He had the long stringy hair and bandana just like Axel.
Another time I got trashed at a bar (hmm I sense a theme here) and was convinced a guy across the patio was Gary Sinise - who I LOVE. One of my friends asked him and his buddies to join us - and up close this guy was about 23 - I was 10 years his senior -easily! And he sounded like ... I don't know .. all nasally and shite. It was pretty embarrassing.
Thank God I don't drink anymore - I always made SUCH an azz of myself.
