Grateful that i got my mother. we texted (sms) and we both talked about those who are bitter or angry and that's not what life should be about. Why waste your life being angry? Sent each other some funny gifs

Grateful to think about how to channel my anger into information gathering and action. I don’t know why this country can’t do better but I want to do what I can on my side of the street.
Grateful to see aamkirk and Vik.
Grateful Britbird is getting back to seeing her friend.
Grateful CP is sober and starting a gratitude notebook—how cool!
Grateful to hug my kids a lot yesterday. And to see my son have his 8th grade grade graduation ceremony. Safe and surrounded by love like all kids should be.
Grateful there are only two days left in the school year. For a lot of reasons.

Grateful to be able to view user history on SR and see the heroic journeys that each of us has taken to get here. So many unique and interesting stories.
Grateful for consistent Spring rains in the Midwest and the abundance of plants and flowers.
Grateful that my mind is still sharp enough to consistently solve my Wordle puzzles. I really enjoy the challenge each morning after a couple of cups of coffee.
Grateful for digital photography and the ability to access old memories so easily.
Grateful for Lemon/Ginger herbal tea, which has been my late afternoon 'go to' drink.
Grateful to have my grandkids fight for my attention yesterday and having enough attention to go around.
Grateful for all of you.

CP, Mr F and sonny boy love wordle too 😊
Free, I’m checking out that book
Grateful for an amazing final meditation class with a great group of ladies. Missed the last two weeks because of what was going on in family. Grateful the owner gave me credit to makeup the classes at another time. Such wonderful connection and energy with these gals. Talked about how we are all connected and our purpose and responsibility here is to spread positive energy and be helpful. What a simple concept
Grateful to have a fun fun fun day at the office and enjoy lunch at a familiar prepandemic place that fortunately is still open 😊 I seriously need to get out more
Grateful for AC and fans and that it’s supposed to cool a little
Grateful when my phone dies, I have the financial means to buy a new one 😝 This one seems to be on its last leg. It was my dads, so it’s a little sad.
Grateful to feel comfortable and secure at work. I’ve come a long way from the days when I felt insecure, always needing to prove myself, and fearful if I made a mistake I’d get fired.

Aamirk - Good to see you here.
Free - A spa visit for my teeth.... Maybe I need to fire my current dentist. I'm glad you're feeling better.
Vik - Sounds like a nice exchange with your mom.
Grateful for today's posts - love goes out to each of you.
Grateful I overbought flowers & now must find pots & spots to plant 'em. Didn't mean to get so many.
Grateful MrH didn't mind getting up at 3am to kill a fly on the bedroom ceiling.
Grateful for all those who rally around the broken hearted when tragedy strikes.
Grateful for another day of precious sobriety.

Grateful for coffee (common theme here) and grateful for the pictures that Free posted on another thread of her ginger cookies, which I can imagine dunking in my coffee right now.
Grateful that my sister, niece, and nieces' son are traveling to NYC this weekend to visit my daughter. Grateful for a close-knit family.
Grateful for a nice power walk yesterday to get some cardio back in my daily routine.
Grateful for the long weekend here in the U.S. and the nice weather forecasted for the Midwest.
Grateful for the examples that all of you provide. Truly feel blessed to have found SR ten years ago.

I missed yesterday, so still catching up!
Free, love your brain re-training ideas.
Hev, Mr. H sounds like such a sweetheart. I'm so happy you have someone who treats you so well.
Least, so cool about the dog license. I think MANY more things should be free to seniors.
Fearless, it's still so weird to think about pre-pandemic life sometimes. Glad you guys had fun.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful most of my stress is related to first-world problems.
Grateful for telework.
Grateful to realize that waking up before everyone in my house is really helpful, and I really need to do it every morning.
Grateful for a little bonding with my boss, another "big boss" and my colleague after a late in-person meeting yesterday. I didn't feel 100% connected, but hopefully it's a start. I really miss my old boss and team (that I was with for 18 years).
Grateful to be reminded of old posts, and CP's comment about looking up peoples' history. We so rarely talk about actual drinking in this thread that I often forget that's what brought us together!
Grateful to be sober.
