Ooohh Fearless I love SF and haven't been in over 20 years, that sounds wonderful!

Grateful for a fun crowd yesterday and an appreciative supervisor, we had a great afternoon.
Grateful to come home to leftover ribs for dinner, I was starving.
Grateful that I was able to get a plumbing emergency at the house fixed quickly, my wife had a pipe break while I was at work.
What I great life I have in sobriety, I hope you all feel this way too.

I had a huge huge fight with my sister today. Ugly. I feel like crap.

She called me back this afternoon to let me know what steps she was taking to rectify the situation and I am so so so damn grateful for that phone call.

Definitely, amen!

BKA - I'm glad you and your sister are working it out

I had a blast working spring training games the last two nights but I'm glad they're over, now on to something else for the rest of the week.
Grateful for a freezer full of leftovers, I have zero time to cook this week.

Grateful for a restful day.
Tomorrow I have a few things to do, chores and picking things up. I keep forgetting to get gas, I'd better remember soon or I won't be going anywhere.
Grateful my mom seems to be feeling better. She had a restful day too. I think she's having covid after effects. Post covid.
Sorry BKA about the fight with your sister, but glad you could both maturely talk afterword, at some point. Wishing you well with that. My sibling relationships are my most trying. Hopefully I'll be away from them at some point. Sending you love and peace along with everyone else too fielding any uncomfortable issues. 💗☮💫
Have a great evening. Pleasant Dreams all.

Lol. One more thing to make me feel like a dinosaur. I had no idea there was a difference!

Grateful for chocolate macadamia nut coffee we brought back from HI.
Grateful that our accountant got the taxes done, even though we owe big bucks which kinda hurt after working our butts off this year.
Grateful for our haves and not our have-nots though, sheesh we have a good life.
Grateful to be done with my night shift position, that was getting monotonous.

Astro, apparently you say bru when you are disappointed. Like “bru, seriously”? Lol
Im sorry you owe, Astro. I’m really hoping Mr F finalizes ours soon. We had a few complicated issues with my Dads stuff last year. But I don’t think it’s too significant. Just need to get it done and I’m hoping we don’t owe. Since Mr F is retired now and only taking social security, our joint income went down even though I got a good raise. I’m also maxing my 401k so I hope that will help. I wasn’t doing this before
Grateful for an inspiring work event today
Grateful for a helpful coworker
Aly, how are you?

Grateful to have had a meaningful and productive week off in Denver, taking my friend to various cancer treatments but also getting good quality time with friends and family. It's not a relaxing vacation but that's not important. I'm grateful for my friend's doctors and providers that are working hard to cure her. Grateful for the friends and family who put me up for the week. Grateful for the people watching my animals while I'm away. Grateful to be heading home in a couple days. Grateful to be sober through it all. Nearly at 18 months. Grateful for you all!!!

I'm ok, Fearless, thank you so much for thinking of me. A little up and down but I think it is to be expected. This crazy heat, it's supposed to be in the 90's over here maybe today and for sure tomorrow. It's really hot. Grateful to see you here so often. Grateful to see AutumnTree too and glad vaca was so productive! Of course, Astro is the glue for this thread, I think. Hoping BKA is well. I need to get my ceiling fan fixed pretty quickly, I think Summer will be early this year.
Grateful for the Grat Pack. Grateful and older kind of mystery show is on. I used to watch it, so I've seen a lot of them before. They're easy to watch, which is what I want right now. Easy to watch.
Have a wonderful evening.

Yessss!! And that's truly the glue that holds us all together, fellowship and recovery!

It's all good on the taxes, Fearless. In retrospect we're having to pay back around 1%, so what right do I have to complain? I think I'm just whining because it feels like we're taxed to death on everything and then they want MORE lol Eh, we have a great life and live in a free country, I'm grateful!

Grateful to be meeting a friend today for our almost weekly breakfast and great conversation.

Grateful to have about 1.5 more weeks left in CO
Grateful my dentist appointment was not painful
Grateful for all of you

Hey all,

Thanks so much for your support regarding my sister. She is our Dad's medical power of attorney and neglected to tell us that Dad was released from hospice and then kept not emailing the rest of the family to let them know. I totally lost it with her which makes me super ashamed. Losing it with her worked and she is now making an effort to communicate with us. I don't really feel good about this but our relationship is intact. For many good reasons we often under/over function. I'm the over functioner - irk.

Today I'm grateful for:
- splitting wood
- grapefruit with salt
- more opportunity to work a backhoe
-getting my apple tv purchases to work

Peace to you all!

Astro, love your post. I like the way that you are realistic, but are so positive in your outlook. You are a breath of fresh air so often!
I went to the post office and the library, did some chores, like take the garbage out, fed our strays, etc. for my mom this morning. I'm supposed to vacuum and do a couple of other things and I just don't feel like it. I'm still dealing with this headache that doesn't want to leave and it kind of saps my strength. The good thing is I'll feel so much better when it finally runs it's course! I heard 3 other people complain about headaches too lately, all over the world. It has to have something to do with this weird weather, well maybe. Hope everyone not feeling well, physically and or emotionally get back to normal soon! Grateful to see Least posting here and there.
All of you are a breath of fresh air! This thread has some really awesome people here. I feel lucky to be here with you all.
Have a wonderful evening and Pleasant Dreams everyone! (It was in the 90's today) 💗☮💫💘💝💌💞
