Wishing you the best today with the procedure, least, praying for relief!

Grateful that tomorrow is a holiday and we'll have family and friends visiting.
Grateful that my wife used the fireplace last night.
Grateful for fellowship, where even those we don't know that well sometimes seem like close friends.

Grateful that my procedure is over and done with. My feet are still numb and my lower back still hurts, but the doctor said that was normal and that it can take a few days for the steroids to take effect. Grateful that my driver, a friend from HS, was kind enough to come in when he brought me home and took Billie out to pee. I paid him a bit extra to thank him for his kindness.

Well done with staying sober, Alpine.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Least, I pray that today finds you comfortable, rested, and that the pain has lessened.

Grateful that today is not a day of work, it will be filled with God, family, love, and food.
Grateful that I got done working early last night and got a good night of sleep.

Grateful for a safe drive out to the airport and back to drop off my husband. Now we have no idea when we will see each other again. Kind of sad about that.

Grateful to remember my mom today, on what would have been her 95th birthday. She gave us a good and peaceful and happy childhood, filled with pets and books and love.

Lots of love to you in remembering your mom, Least!
Alpine, way to say no to wine!
I hope those who had a holiday today had a peaceful day. I had a drinking dream during my nap but otherwise it was a lovely day. Grateful to not cook today - I cook a great deal and it was a lovely treat to get a vegan Thanksgiving meal from a local restaurant. Grateful for running even though it's hard and I'm slow. I love how I feel afterwards. Grateful for my two dogs and one cat that give me so much love and companionship.

AT, your vegan Thanksgiving meal sounds perfectly yummy!

Alpine - Long distance is hard, I'm sorry. Prayers for your marriage to always remain strong, my wife used to travel a lot for work and sometimes I feel like heartache and yearning keeps a marriage solid.

Grateful to have a couple friends join us yesterday, it was a really nice day.
Grateful for the visit from my daughter and the text messages from my son, friends, and other family members.

Grateful to be tucked up in bed after a sober Friday.
Grateful for my warm home and fridge full of food - my thoughts are with the homeless tonight - I hope they have somewhere warm to go out of the snow 😔
Grateful to be able to breathe- I know that sounds dramatic but I'm recovering from Covid - horrible virus - I wouldn't wish it on anyone!

Tonight I'm grateful that I gathered the strength and nerve to stand on my feet for the 15 minutes it took to feed and potty Billie. Even holding onto my cane, it was hard standing up for that long. But neighbor kid hadn't responded to me texts asking if he was coming over and I was forced to do it myself. She needed to eat and go potty!

Grateful that she didn't yank on the leash when we were out in the yard. She could've knocked me off my feet but she was very cooperative.

Grateful and relieved for a day without alcohol.
Grateful for my funny dog who sometimes is the only soul I can bear to be around, and who puts up with me even in my foulest moods.
Grateful for the means to have a quiet day at home - no rushing off to work. So many years of having to be right back in the grind the day after Thanksgiving.
Grateful for COVID vaccinations and booster shots and rapid testing.
Grateful for friends who understand when I get a little irrational in my COVID anxiety.
Grateful for being sober today.
Grateful to those of you who welcomed me back.
Grateful for SR and all of you.

Not dramatic at all, prayers that you recover soon, and for no lingering effects too.

Heck yeah! I've been taking turkey sandwiches to the night job and coming home to a bowl of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green bean casserole. Your turkey chowder sounds like a perfect cold weather meal.

Grateful that this weekend will be busy but not overwhelming, I've got some side jobs as usual and some chores to take care of around the house.
Grateful I can make it to church tomorrow, I've been gone awhile.

Thank you for your kindness. I didn't have a very good day with my mom yesterday. A PT that she didn't know came in and was trying to get her to do her PT. She was so obnoxious and refused to do a lot of things. I was absolutely mortified that she was so rude. I left early. I didn't want to say anything I shouldn't. I may have a talk with her. Sometimes those places will kick you out if you don't at least try. Of course she did a spin doctor and said I was being mean when I came in. Maybe, I hope not. I am absolutely exhausted. I'm worried, not sleeping well and trying to keep my nose out of my sister's business. Although now that they know I go ever day, they barely visit her. My side of the road, thanks Mags
Grateful that today's visit will be good. I wish I wasn't so tired.
Love and peace to all of you. Thank you for caring and your support. I need it now. ☮💗
