I forgot to post last night so will post this morning.

I'm grateful for:
- interesting discussion with my sister
-clean line dried (actually lawn chair dried) sheets
-Trader Joe's blintzes for breakfast
-getting a load of tree/shrub clippings to the dumpster
- having a new knitting project going
-getting in 35 minutes of flow yoga
-having a couple of tidy spots in the house

Today- Plumbing comes to do a back flow test, put laundry away, call social worker at school, contact mountain rescue, sew ruffle on petticoat.

I'm trying to stay positive about myself which is always a bit challenging.

D, thanks for the new thread.

Good evening all,

I'm grateful my Doc renewed my meds today and I have an appointment with her.

Tough conversation with my brother. He is stressing about a minor financial issue with my Dad's estate and I don't get why it is such a big deal.

Grateful for the healthy lasagna I threw together last night, lots of leftovers.
Grateful it's "Friday" at the office, back to working from home for the new few days which I've really come to appreciate.
Grateful I was able to work with my supervisors yesterday to work through some tough purchasing issues.

I'm grateful that Dee is looking out for us in Opi's absence.

Tonight I'm grateful for cooler weather (tho I know what that portends...) and a chance to take Billie for a nice long walk and a couple shorter walks. That's what I miss so terribly in cold weather is not being able to walk her several times a day.

Grateful for the lady at the lottery/carryout store who apologized for not having any doggie treats, so she gave us 2 small slim jims. Billie went nuts over them. The workers at this small store are always good to me and Billie. I like patronizing small businesses.

Grateful too that my house is looking better and better every day that goes by. My daughter did most of the cleaning (the first four rooms downstairs) and I did the front room downstairs and together we did the big room upstairs. Now I'm slowly but surely working on the den, decluttering and cleaning and ruthlessly pitching what I can't use and no one else can use. This is the third week in a row that my trash cart has been really heavy and full to the top. (it's a big cart)

Grateful that my brother takes it to the curb for me on Thursday nights. Grateful I get my SS check Friday and I can afford to take my brother out for his birthday dinner (was Monday) wherever he wants to go is fine with me. It's his choice and my treat. I love my brother and there's nothing that's too good for him. I love all my siblings but am especially attached to my brother.

Grateful that Billie approves of the clean rug in the den and christened it by rolling back and forth on her back to lay down some dog hair on the Nice Clean Rug.

Grateful for Fearless' signature. Two of the most succinct bits of wisdom I've ever heard.

Grateful for a clean organized house, at least, most of it. (my den will take a while...)

Grateful that Billie has learned to sit on command.

Grateful that tomorrow I'll be taking my beloved brother out for dinner for his birthday (which was Monday). He gets to choose the place and time. If he has hard work to do tomorrow and gets all sweaty, he might choose Saturday instead. But said tomorrow is likely as he'll just bring a clean shirt from home to change into after work.

Grateful that I can treat him for his birthday.

Grateful for Billie's company.

Grateful that the messiness of work last night has passed and I'm working from home with my wife today, and it looks like I won't be working too hard over the long weekend, I'm grateful for that too.
Grateful that all of you are doing well, have a nice Labor Day weekend!

Good evening all,

I'm grateful for:
- more rain
- buying a bunch of perennials today - so fun
- finding a lost dog, Arlo, who I got to hang with until the owner showed (Arlo happily hopped in the back of my car and settled down)
-getting rid of 4 rusty kerosene cans, 2 old propane tanks, two gas cans and a car battery that I have no idea where it came from
- getting the house a bit cleaned out

May all be well.

I have to come back and edit as I can hardly feel my sciatica . I am grateful. I notice pain but not the absence.

Grateful that I had the ambition today to vacuum out the heat ducts downstairs. They were a mess but now are nice and clean and ready for the furnace. (I'm not ready for furnace weather tho...)

Grateful that Billie's steroid shot on Monday has stopped her itchies.

Grateful to be up early doing some light chores and preparing for Zoom Bible study.
Grateful to look out our kitchen window and see greenery, my wife has amazing gardening skills.
Grateful that I don't have to work this morning, I'm enjoying the little time I have off while I can.

Grateful to be getting more 'stuff' organized and cleaned. Went thru two of my six bookshelves today and sorted books I don't want to keep. I'm going to let mk look thru them when she comes down on Monday and decide which ones she wants.

Grateful for a nice walk with Billie after her supper.

Grateful that bro is going to come by after church tomorrow and take me to the store to get the one thing I forgot Friday night - yogurt! I start my day with yogurt. I like it and eat it cause it's one of the few ways I get calcium since I don't drink milk.

Grateful that I can come here to read all your grats.
