Grateful to wake up sober after a bad dream about the toxic life I used to lead - toxic workplace and people - toxic living environment- I'm free now - and hangover free 😊
Grateful for YouTube and Google helping me to fix my washing machine yesterday - there's no way I could have dealt with that 3 weeks ago!

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for a peaceful, rainy morning.
Grateful that my older son is now driving, it's a game changer.
Grateful that today is a new day - I was really in a funk yesterday.
Grateful I have lunch planned with a former colleague. I'm honestly kind of dreading it, but I know I'll be happy once I see her.
Grateful to be making small progress in not taking things so personally.
Grateful that I only have a few meetings today.
Grateful to have power over my reactions to people and situations.
Grateful I don't need to please everyone or try to be perfect.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful for a peaceful, rainy morning.
Grateful that my older son is now driving, it's a game changer.
Grateful that today is a new day - I was really in a funk yesterday.

Grateful to see Lamb and overforty here.
Grateful Fearless is in a similar school preparation boat (though sorry you are needing to take on the school mental load). We also start Tuesday. Our stinking school gave summer assignments on top of everything else so we’re also scrambling to get that done. Not sure how the early mornings are going to work out and I’m trying not to have too much anticipatory dread about the pain of this transition. But somewhat failing.
Grateful for days when the coffee is already made.
Grateful to do a Zoom at 7 p.m. last night with some old colleagues from a work conference/organization. So grateful I didn’t have to worry about whether I appeared to have a buzz.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful to check I finally though it’s after 3 pm here. It’s morning somewhere. Lol
Grateful the rocky meeting from this morning is over. I have another tomorrow that I not looking forward to then a break in meetings for a week
Grateful school orientation went smoothly per mr f. Though 4 f the classes are marked as teacher unknown. Oh well, at least he knows what room to show up at what time tomorrow. Grateful sonny boy is smart, so even when school is a mess, he will adjust. At least that’s my hope and expectation 😊

Grateful that I'm getting much more used to big presentations, enough to recognize that "big" is relative.
Grateful that I'm less fearful about experimenting at work and seeing what sticks.
Grateful to be able to stand up for myself in new ways.

Grateful for just a few minutes before the chaos of the morning school rush begins for this year.
Grateful there will be more kids back at school this year.
Grateful yesterday was bulk trash pick up day in a nice area. I got: this super cool Tiffany lampshade, a little table to go beside my desk so I have a bit more space to put stuff on (with two monitors etc. I could barely even keep a stack of papers on it); a vintage trunk from the camp my daughter goes to (and she even liked it which is an unexpected bonus); a solid wood mid-century table to match the chairs I got a couple years ago on bulk trash day; and this sweet big basket.
Grateful we have bulk trash day here! I’ve gotten lawn furniture, vintage barrel chairs, storage containers, planters, and more! One person’s trash as they say…
Grateful for all the weight loss in the group. Congrats!
Grateful to recognize the AV yesterday. I think mine whippers like Voldemort.

Grateful I have a backyard I can look out into, for my morning quiet time.
Grateful I'm putting one foot in front of the other, and feel "ok" a lot, along with feeling grief.
Grateful Mr. T. made recordings of himself reciting poetry, so I can still hear his voice when I want to.

Grateful to be eight months sober today.
Grateful that some of my PAWS symptoms seem to be subsiding.
Grateful to get a walk in before work this morning.
Grateful for a visit from my son and his fiancée. They keep taking quick Covid tests just to be safe.
Grateful for SR and all of you.

Grateful for the pounds lost by FBL and overforty
Daisy and Mags, yes I remember that time- wanting to pour a drink in the morning, sometimes right after dropping sonny boy off at preschool. Glad those days are behind me.
Numblady, sounds like a lovely work space. I agree on others trash being treasures for some.

Grateful to have a calm talk with Mr F about some things that have been bothering me lately, mainly about his behavior. Grateful he’s become such a better listener, apologizes when he’s wrong or even when he’s not necessarily wrong but says something that I felt hurt by. We used to fight. It’s rare now.
Grateful that people can and do change
Grateful for sonny boys first day of school, and for Mr F’s help in the mornings and with everything now that he is retired and working for me full time. Lol

Grateful for work place flexibility and work from home, which allows me to go for a run after my meeting today
