Grateful for sober sleep. There's just nothing like it. Now I just wish I could pull myself out of it! Having a hard time waking up.
Grateful for things to be put in perspective. Talked to my neighbor yesterday and all the work stress I feel sure pales in comparison to what she is faced with--direct care for adults with intellectual disabilities that are profound enough they have to be in residential care. Thanks to COVID, they've shut down almost all the recreation activities (in part because the staff for those activities are needed to cover other things with staff shortages/sickness) and if anyone in the homes end up with Covid, those staff have to go to 12 hour shifts and still go to work. Everyone there is so tired. The residents. The staff. My heart hurts for them all. Praying she and everyone will get some relief soon.
Grateful I got rid of a ton of stuff this weekend a la Hev. First Buy Nothing, then Nextdoor, then Craigslist. Man those Craigslist people are fast! Went from having a huge stack of stuff to just odds and ends. I love it!
Grateful the housekeeper comes today and I can enjoy a house that will be both clean and quiet.
Grateful for good neighbors. The neighbor on the other side of us is leaving today. Was surprised at how sad it made me to think I wouldn't look at and see his yippy little dogs ever again. He helped me hang a trellis and gave us some of his old stuff and was just an all-around nice guy. Hoping the real estate gods grace us with nice replacement(s).
Grateful for a Zoom with my old high school friends last night and to admit I'd wobbled but then righted myself. Good to have that out there. We are going to attempt a book club together!
Grateful for all of you and your grats.

Grateful that the lack of sleep last night isn’t from a hangover
Grateful that it’s been 2 months now that I haven’t received a piece of mail regarding my Dad. Hopefully the mortgage lender finally wrote it off as a loss. Grateful that my Dad would be proud of how I handled his affairs
Grateful for the reminder that everything does pass. There is a light at the end of every tunnel
Grateful for the power of choice
Grateful for coffee!
Grateful to run the last half mile to Def Leppard Rock of Ages
Grateful for the internet
Grateful for a busy week ahead
Grateful for all of you

Jack - Great to have you with us!
PalmerSage - Hope the big guy has a fantastic year.
Numblady - Congrats on dumping the superfluous stuff. You'll never miss it.
Grateful it's still summer for a while, but would love the heat & humidity to take a hike.
Grateful to correct myself whenever I veer towards being critical or intolerant.
Grateful for everyone's grats.

Grateful that mk's cleaning frenzy has rubbed off on me. I got quite a bit done this morning, mostly getting rid of junk. The house is looking better and better.

Welcome, Jack!
Grateful for good sleep last night.
Grateful for a covid test this morning, not that I think I have it, just being cautious after visiting with a few people outside of my small circle.
Grateful for internet friends helping me with travel ideas and plans. It's hard to travel in covid-times but I really need some outings.
Grateful for you all & your lovely posts.
