Morning Gratitude ~ Part 106

Grateful to be reminded of sun tea. 
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful I have a lighter day of meetings today.
Grateful to be eating healthier, or at least more mindfully. Weight loss will come if I seriously commit to it.
Grateful I was able to drop off some treats to my dad on his birthday, and remembered to post on Facebook.
Grateful for my sweet and patient dogs.
Grateful for quiet mornings and telework.
Grateful for spring.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful for coffee.

Grateful for the walk on the beach and maybe I will find more shells today....during my walk...
Grateful for the stars before they fade away when the sun comes up...
Grateful to see the stars at night... I like looking for the big dipper and little dipper when the clouds and fog don't roll in....

Glad the dr appointment went well.
PalmerSage - Yes, weight loss will come if we keep at it. I wish all the tasty stuff wasn't so bad for us.
Free - I'm glad it was a mild version & you had the vaccine. Awful times we've been living through.
Turs - Glad you slept w/o the meds. I'm leery of them too.
CBS - Good that you're free of that dizziness. Hope it stays away.

Grateful to finally check in to am thread after a couple days absent. I have thought of you all
Grateful that IT was able to fix my vpn issue, at least for now. Grateful the issue truly was an internal server problem and not me
Grateful my presentation will be over after tonight. Grateful it will no longer be looming over my head. Grateful I’m prepared
Grateful to discover mindful self compassion and a workbook on my therapists suggestion
Grateful to laugh hysterically with sonny boy practicing our German accents especially with the guttural ra sound
Grateful I really like my hair today. Been a while since I spent some time actually making it look nice

Grateful for a nice long walk with Billie on this lovely sunny day.
Fearless, I took German for 3 yrs in high school and loved it. I got pretty good at the pronunciation of the words. I saw my German teacher years after getting out of high school and told her that there was one thing she taught us that I'll never forget. She said if we're ever lost in Germany, never say "Ich bin verloren" for "I am lost" cause if you say it that way, it means you are lost spiritually, like a 'fallen woman' sort of lost. She said to always say "Ich habe meine weg verloren", or "I have lost my way". All these years later and I still remember that little tidbit.
I also had Beethoven's 9th Symphony "Ode to Joy" memorized in German and could sing the whole thing.

Grateful for telework, and that it's likely to continue on some level, even beyond the pandemic.
Grateful my younger son had a great time playing soccer in the rain.
Grateful my mindful eating has mostly continued.

Grateful for the paws sober recovery thread it’s so helpful to know I’m not alone suffering from paws.
Grateful that my husband likes to do dishes.
Grateful that my husband and I will have our empty nest back soon as our 26 year old daughter moves out next week.

Grateful for a day off tomorrow.
Grateful I found the time to cook healthy food last night.
Grateful for an invitation to gather (safely) with my brother and his kids for an outdoor visit.

Grateful to be done going to the bank and turning over more financial info to one of my health care providers. There are a couple of doctors in that system I really like and want to keep seeing but I'm kind of having to jump through hoops to get what I need, but I am so grateful that things seem to be going my way this time! Yay! I hope the tide continues. You just never know what every day will bring.
Grateful I get to talk to my psychiatrist today. He is one of the smartest people I know. Grateful he's on my side.
Grateful for all the posts today and the weight loss, I know a lot of us are trying to get some lbs off and doing a great job. I keep yo-yoing. I have to get really serious too. Summer is coming up so quickly.
Fearless, I bet your presentation was very good. You are still getting over not feeling well. A lot of times feeling unwell can make us lose a bit of confidence. Love you.
