Hev - yes goodness implants definitely come at a price! I need to make a decision, given, as the dentist put it, it's not a requirement for aesthetic reasons. In other words, it is not a front tooth. I have a couple of weeks to decide.
FBL - nice photo, amd charm. I hope your brother is bearing up.
Mags - pleased to hear the side effects of the asthma medication are settling down.
Rusty - so glad you've been reunited with your precious music especially for such a good long session.
Glad you had such a great family weekend, Fearless. I think there's definitely a place for junk food once, or twice, in a while.
What a lovely avatar, Ananya. And again here's a quiet cheer for the power of charms.
Aly you are a very nice neighbour.
That was funny, courage!. Agree with what you said about resentments as well.
Like Daisy, grateful and relieved we haven't suffered any personal damage because of the weather. Some areas of the UK have done really badly. And it's not quite over yet.
Grateful also to be sober, New Chapter and least, and grateful also for everyone on this thread.

Grateful the weekend is over. For various reasons it was a bit of an emotional roller coaster plus I had the dreaded 3 am waking up which is enough to send champion overthinkers (me) into a right state. The weather was so bad yesterday that all London parks were closed so it was not even possible to commune with nature! Evidently they all have a lot of ancient trees that could have fallen. (Felt like one of those myself this weekend). Today feels much better.
Thankful not to have eaten all the jam tarts I made with my granddaughter. Many years since I made any of those. Domestic science lessons circa 1964?
Thankful my husband is finally properly better.
Grateful the endless series of unicorn badges my granddaughter sent via What's App yesterday were to a family member. Must remember to keep my phone well out of sight.
Grateful to be sitting here catching up with you all, my favourite international community.

Grateful to be sober.
So very grateful for SR and all of you.
Grateful that nothing lasts forever and that every day is a new opportunity to do better.
Grateful for my sweet horse.
Grateful for my loving husband.

Grateful Least's headache is not drinking induced, though hoping it passes soon.
Grateful fearless enjoyed what sounds to be a glorious feast with family - yum! Though sorry about the food hangover! I hope you enjoyed lunch at the farmer's market.
Grateful Courage is developing wisdom in sobriety and sharing with us.
Grateful for Aly's posts.
Grateful for Mags being inside and cosy while the storm bustles outside.
Grateful for Canadian Koala (cute picture, by the way!).
Grateful Rose's husband is feeling better and that you got to make some jam tarts with your gdaughter, they sound delicious!

Take care all and have a wonderful, sober day / week ahead

Grateful for so much. But kind of thwarted by lack of keyboard.
Grateful to catch up on all your posts and for, among many things I am surely forgetting, RZs sense of humor and Courage helping me I think get the joke, for Aly’s sweet spirit and taking out her elderly neighbor, and for all of you.
Grateful I ordered a new keyboard.
Grateful for excellent girls weekend. More on that later.
Grateful for today and all of you.

Rose - Domestic Science - known as Home Economics at my school. Mastered the Apple Brown Betty (Aka Apple Crisp) but blouse making was a huge fail.
Grateful to be sober & sane.
In a hurry today, but wanted to send out some love to you all.

Grateful to be sober this morning.
Going through life sober is a lot easier, I'm grateful for that too.

Have a good day ☼

Hev - you obviously went to a more enlightened school than me. No blouse making, only apron making and, even more strangely, hair brush cleaning techniques! ( I can still do a mean clean of a hairbrush). Happy to have been introduced to the delicacy known as Apple Crisp. Not a U.K. staple.
NC - I liked your reminder that nothing lasts forever. After my slightly gloomy weekend, life is now looking brighter. Did you get some riding in at the weekend?
NL - look forward to a bit - lot - more detail on your girls weekend. Sounds like it was a success.
Rusty - onwards and upwards. Hope there are imminent music opportunities ahead.
courage, Aly, CK, mags - alive and sober. Good as it gets. We are indeed privileged.
mags - very cold weather for fishing. Mr Mags must be very intrepid.

Grateful for a morning off, especially since last night wasn't a great night sleepwise.
Thankful storm Ciara is winding down a bit. Really feel for all those whose homes/towns have been devastated by it.
Grateful we're inching, bit by bit, towards spring. Nice to see the garden looking just a bit less forlorn.
Grateful to have seen one of my sisters yesterday to lend a sympathetic ear to some concerns she had. Seems like anxiety/motherhood go hand in hand forever.
Grateful to be continuing on this path with you all.

Good morning!
Grateful for my new keyboard albeit that I’m not used to it yet and that I don’t really have time to use it today.
Grateful I figured out I can fit my bike in the trunk of the rental car if I fold the seats down so that excuse for not going to bike class is gone.
Grateful for all of you and really hope to post more tomorrow.

Grateful, so grateful, to be sober. I must never take for granted that no matter how difficult the emotional/ psychological/environmental challenges that arise may be, having a clear, sober mind and body with which to face those challenges is a gift.
Grateful for you all
Grateful to have met my dad for dinner after work yesterday evening.
Grateful to be working through my issues and trying to be kind to myself.

Grateful NL enjoyed a girls' weekend - can't wait to hear more now that you have your new keyboard!
Grateful RZ has his 'big boy boxers' on to face the world! LOL
Grateful for Courage's reminder that being alive is more than enough for which to be grateful.
Grateful for Aly's kind words to anyone struggling.
Grateful for Hev spreading some love - right back atcha!
Grateful Mags is stayoing warm inside and leaving hubby to brace the elements - it has been super cold here the last few days and I am dreaming of warmer days and climes!
Grateful for CK's reminder that life is so much better sober, even on the tough days.
Grateful Rose has the morning off, though sorry to hear that last night's sleep wasn't so great. Nice to hear that your garden is also preparing for Spring to well and truly arrive.

Take care all and have a wonderful day!

Ok, Least, I had a decent night's sleep and I have no reason not to take Luke and I for a nice walk today unless his arthritis acts up. He's getting all kinds of non medicine supplements. The swelling has gone down in his elbow, but he still limps. Maybe it helps a little.
Thanks for reminding me how important walks with our dogs are, for us and them.

Grateful to find out I was sober when I woke up today.
I had some drinking dreams and they always make me feel guilty.

Grateful as I grow into a "Grat Pack" regular member
Have a good hump day folks!
