Congrats on 17 months, Daisy. I'm just a few weeks behind you!

Grateful for 500 days sober today.

Grateful to have won the "Triple Crown" yesterday, taking Henry for swims in the creek, the lake, and the river. We're a little tired today

Aly, wow that’s a lot of shots. Perhaps a few week to smoothing out the forehead lines if you feel you need it? Lol. Kidding. Hope you feel better
Glad Pounce said No
Grateful for Deserto’s 500 days!
Grateful I did not watch a movie that sonny boy and husband enjoyed last night, and spent time reading instead
FBL, I’m grateful for perspective re health issues too (and many other things)

Grateful to get my work out done early
Grateful for the Sunday Morning show
Grateful to have friends over for brunch in a while and to start getting ready
Grateful the mom is one of my nondrinking friends (The one who has both a severe autistic son, and a high functioning Aspergers son). Not even a thought about mimosas.

Grateful for each of you

Grateful to wake up sober again, with Billie's sweet face the first thing I see when I open my eyes.

Fearless, how funny. I was hoping the doctor would give me a few Botox injections in my forehead, but I think I only got one or two and my eyebrows are moving fine, so I guess I have to live with the lines Lol! I got a good chuckle out of that!
Grateful to have been able to catch some extra zzz's this morning. I have been so tired, I think it ties into semi avoiding some of my responsibilities the last few days/week. Not a good place for me to wallow, so today I may get a start, but I'm giving myself until tomorrow to goof off.
Grateful for all of you. FBL, there is hope for you! You will get through your eye issues. There will come a day that you will forget you ever worried about it, I hope.
Grateful Rusty played last night. Drumming is pretty physical. I imagine you were tired, I bet everyone was so glad you were there!!
Grateful for all of you everyday!

FBL - well said! And I really do hope your eye issues are resolved soon.

Numblady - quick hello.

Fearless - glad you had a better night's sleep. Me too.

Deserto - the 'Triple Crown'?! Impressive.

Grateful that the weather held yesterday because I had a great walk in the sunshine in the afternoon
Grateful the AV got the message, at least this weekend, that there is no-one at home.
Thankful to have made myself turn on the computer as soon as I got up so now I have no choice about doing a couple of work-related things that I've been meaning to do all weekend.
Thankful to have done a bit of a wardrobe cull over the weekend (the question why came up on a number of questions, as in why did I think that was an essential addition to my wardrobe) and some tedious, boring ironing. There used to be something called sack dresses back in the day and they suddenly sound like an attractive option.
Ever grateful to be sober.

Hope the week ahead is good to us all.

Grateful this is a kind sharing where we can voice our ailments, warts and all. (I haven’t got any warts )
Grateful for a sober day
Grateful I read Rich’s thread over the weekend and really brought home what can happen under the influence - here’s the thread if you want to read it, https://www.soberrecovery.com/forums...-happened.html (I came close, but lost the battle. The worst has happened.)

Grateful I found SR a few years ago and appreciate it every day.

Grateful to be sober and present today.
Grateful to deliver the g.kiddo's safely to school.
Grateful my brother has taken my mum out today.
Grateful not to over react when my g.son told me last night that daddy now smokes teabags apparently he opens the tea bags and puts the leaves in his roll ups. That's a new one on me, I'll stick to drinking it.
Grateful Aly has had some extra zzzzzzz's, you must have needed them Aly.
Grateful Rose kicked the A.V into touch at weekend. Being home alone used to be an excuse for me to drink myself silly, these days I can find so many better things to do.
Grateful Mags has shared Rich's thread, thank you Mags.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xxx

Grateful that I have read each of your posts and thought of all these responses, now I have forgotten but I am still so grateful for each of you and everything we share here
Grateful for Mags reference to Rich’s thread. I have often thought about him and wondered how he’s doing. I have not read the update yet but will do so when I have time.
Grateful for Numblady
Thought of Hevyn too. Hope all is well and to see her soon
Grateful for a busy week!

^^^ me too Mags for directing me to Rich's recent posts

Grateful for peace of mind. Such a difference from the way it used to be. Even anxiety is bearable when it isn't mired in 90 proof mud.

Hi erratic - nice to see your post/meet you.

Rusty - thinking of you. Hope today goes as well as it can.

Daisy - interesting how your son thinks of ever more inventive ways of surprising you! New one on me too.

Numblady - a little shout out to you.

Grateful to have survived my granddaughter's swimming lesson yesterday. Toddler swimming lessons require the responsible adult to be in the water with the little one. I can't even begin to enumerate the reasons why that was not an attractive idea to me....
Thankful I can now call myself a responsible adult!
Grateful to be reading a book (Commonwealth by Anne Prarchett) that I'm really enjoying
Thankful the weather is looking better today since I'm likely to be in parks and playgrounds
Having also viewed the Rich thread and the 'Brian' video, both desperately sad, more than humbly grateful things never got that bad for me.

Grateful to you all (of course).

Grateful to be stopping in and returning a bit to normalcy. Actually I’m nowhere near normalcy but just coming back here is nice.
Grateful for so much surrounding the horrible circumstances of my brother’s untimely death.
Grateful above all for all that I’ve learned here. I said this in Newcomers’ thread but I have to say it again. Being on here for a long time and reading all I’ve read helps me to know that there are always things I could have done better or done more of — but in the end analysis the only person who can save an addict is the addict.
Grateful to see so many family members and friends I hadn’t seen in so long, and to meet friends of my brother’s who loved him so much.
Grateful to be reminded that people are struggling with so many demons and past traumas we can’t even see. We’ve learned about losses in other people’s lives we didn’t even know about.
Grateful for my family. They are all kind and overall well adjusted. This has been a time of doing whatever we can to support one another, and I know that wouldn’t be the case for everyone and their family.
Grateful to know you all were here and to see your kind words. I didn’t go through all the posts I’ve missed but I did make it through this page.
Love to you all.
