Aww Daisy that sounds so wonderful. Good luck with that serenity prayer and wayward son tonight. You’re a rock. He can’t affect you and you can’t change him or his choices. May you find all the strength you need, whether he shows up or not.

Grateful I think I’ve figured out child care for tonight while I’m stuck at capitol.
Grateful my son is friends with a child in school who seems to not have other friends and is in one of the classrooms for children with special needs. His compassion when describing some of the “problem” students at school is moving. He told his sister not to judge a girl who is angry all the time and runs away from teachers over and over because her brain is different.
Grateful for the chance to not be driven by ego in my thoughts and deeds—today and every day.
Grateful for this warm and uplifting place and all of you who make it that way.
