Grateful that you're still sarcastic, Rusty. We can still be who we are, after we sober up, no?

Grateful that all you snowy-places people are weathering it well.

Welcome to the Grat Pack, listae & Sunflowerlife.

ItWillBeWorthIt -- lovely to see you!

Grateful that an argument with my husband last night didn’t lead to either of us drinking. Grateful we could talk things over peacefully and effectively this morning. Grateful that we can each see each other’s perspective
Grateful that even though I did t sleep for a single second last night, tonight is a new night and I will eventually catch up
Grateful that I did not go on an Amazon shopping binge last night
Grateful that someday, hopefully soon, my husband will be able to retire and work stress will be a thing of the past. Grateful for my own work situation, that it is not too stressful on a constant basis. Grateful to think about things that I might do in retirement that will be more purposeful and fulfilling.
Grateful that despite all the craziness in my family of origin, my parents did give me a good education and encouraged early reading

Grateful for no windchill. It's cold enough without it!

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful to wake up without a hangover or any feeling of panic.
Grateful to be feeling calm.
Grateful that we weren't involved in any traffic incidents this morning on the school run, the traffic was horrendous.
Grateful to go into the school office with my eldest grandson and explain why we were late, he has a real fear of getting a detention.
Grateful that the lovely lady on reception at school was so kind and understanding and reassured my g.son that all would be okay.
Grateful to phone my husband and open a letter he received from the hospital confirming that his recent biopsy's show no further progression in a condition he has.
Grateful he can now relax.
Grateful to get two wash loads done and a chicken curry on the go in the slow cooker.
Grateful for a little time for myself, with a fresh coffee in hand, to post here.
Grateful for a bit of sarcasm Rusty, I enjoy it.
Grateful to be here with you lovely people xx

Grateful to be pulling myself together to get out there and brave the single digit temp this a.m.!...tho', I certainly do realize others in this forum have much worse to face than me.
Grateful to be able to smile.
Grateful for this forum and all who share their ESH. Best forum ever

Grateful that in sobriety I’m not becoming less of who I am but more, and things like creativity and broadening horizons, along with a healthy dose of sarcasm and irreverence, are unfolding to me every day.
So grateful for this forum (and to Palmer for recommending it) and a little bit of time to post. This is the highlight of my morning!
Grateful that this morning I could see a beautiful sunrise and a full moon at the same time.
Grateful for my unbounded optimism that some day, just one fine day eventually I am going to get my little iPhone to capture the splendor of the sky. I’ll never stop trying!
Grateful for Fearless’ focus on purpose and meaning.
Grateful for Daisy’s good news (or at least not bad news) on her husband’s condition.
Grateful for cake.
Grateful for the songs that shaped my teenage and college years.
Grateful for the absurdity of my daughter and her friend rapping into the karaoke machine. At 7:41 a.m. (???!!?)
Grateful for the gift of this day and the chance to make it the best one I can.

Me too, Numblady. SR is my morning inspiration!
Grateful to see a beautiful rainbow yesterday
Grateful to sleep well and wake up feeling energized, much better than the night before
Grateful for a day off with my son. Though he is sick, so we probably won’t do anything
Grateful to hear a story on the news about the pop up of creative alcohol free drinks in bars because of the increased focus on health and wellness
Grateful that I’m two years sober today

Grateful to get a glimpse of the "wolf moon" through the blinds in my dining room as I type.
Grateful for my Sherpa blanket and fuzzy socks -- really helped with getting some restful sleep.
Grateful to have faith, love, and hope.

Fearless way to go on 2 years! I loved reading your post in Newcomers as well.

Grateful for a nap yesterday with my little kitty curled up next to me.
Grateful that removing alcohol has freed me from trying to overcompensate and allowed me to realize there are a lot of things I skipped not because I was a drunk but because I just didn’t feel like doing them.
Grateful to Dr. King.
Grateful for fans and white noise
Grateful I blew off the super early workout so I didn’t have to rush quite as much.
Grateful for a few minutes of time to post and drink coffee.
Grateful for all of you.
