I am so grateful to wake clean, sober and hangover free..
I am grateful that today I am living in the solution not the problem.
I am grateful that despite a horrible altercation with a colleague yesterday I did not have to nor want to, pick up a drink. Instead I used my tools I have learned in recovery to deal with it. Alcohol is NOT the answer anymore. Thank God.

Grateful to have woken up hangover free this morning.
Grateful my lovely friend Snitch from our April 2018 class has joined us here.

Congrats on 2 years, Fearless! Sorry I missed it in your post yesterday

Grateful that my son remembers snowsuits. That part of our lives was short but sweet.

Grateful for a relatively manageable day yesterday at work after a pretty grueling weekend of work for a so-called three day weekend.
Grateful for seeing things through my daughter’s eyes. She loves when I set up a treasure hunt for her, which is kind of a pain. But she set one up for me (and at the end was...the cake I was planning to eat for dessert!). Seeing her squeal with delight and explain “this is why I love treasure hunts so much mama” made me feel such tenderness for her (also kind of like a jerk for always being annoyed when she makes the request of me )
Grateful for hot tea (to go with my cake! )
Grateful for space to try and recognize my role in problems and conflicts.
Grateful for curbside pick up at the grocery store.
Grateful for efficient workouts.
Grateful to be here with all of you each day.

Grateful to wake up clear headed and ready to face the day.
Grateful there were no traffic incidents this morning in the thick fog when doing the school run
Grateful the thick fog wasn't brain fog
Grateful to be able to walk past a certain cupboard and not dry heave.
Grateful to text my daughter first thing this morning and wish her a happy birthday.
Grateful my daughter and her husband have a day off work and are spending the day together.
Grateful to have a stew in the slow cooker ready for dinner this evening.
Grateful my little cat is happy, naughty and full of the joys of spring.
Grateful to you all for being part of my journey. xx

Grateful sonny boy is well enough to go to school today and that he likes school for the most part
Grateful for bubble gum flavored medicine
Grateful to go shopping in my closet and that I already have enough
Grateful for comfy tunics and leggings
Grateful I will be eating the last of the cauliflower pizza crust at lunch. My husband joked (but was also serious I think) that I can’t make another batch until it’s warmer and we can open the windows. The smell is overpowering!
Grateful to be pretty caught up at work, to be able to work ahead so I hopefully won’t have any work to do over the weekend
Grateful for another nice day and the time to go for a run later.
Grateful for all of you
