Grateful to be ending the day sober.
Grateful for a quick power nap this afternoon.
Grateful for a drama free day.
Grateful for food in my cupboards and hot water.
Grateful for clean clothes.
Grateful for all I have.

I, too, am grateful to be going into the evening sober.
Grateful for the things I have and am comfortable.
Grateful for my walk with Luke. Grateful we're thinking about adopting an older dog for Luke to keep him company with his separation anxiety. He likes dogs a lot, as long as they are smaller than he is...
. We love dogs too.

Grateful that I was able to exercise outside today.
Grateful for a good day of communication with my husband.
Grateful that we are gradually getting all the holiday food out of the house (unfortunately, we are getting it out by eating it all).
Grateful for my very cozy bed.
Grateful to be going skiing tomorrow.

Grateful for a short run this morning.
Grateful for a nice walk with my husband and son on a gorgeous day
Grateful for the friends I have including all of you. I never feel judged or alone here and there is so much positive energy. Grateful for the common bond we share and for being on this journey together.

Grateful to be going into late afternoon, early evening, sober.
Grateful for a nice walk with Luke. It's been so cold I haven't wanted to stay out, but I think I'd better start making the walks longer again!

Grateful to be ending Sunday night sober.
Grateful to sleep a bit later this morning.
Grateful to take the Christmas tree and decorations down.
Grateful to the man who is collecting and disposing of Christmas trees for a small fee to donate to Dementia research. That's a charity very close to my heart.
Grateful to get my bedding changed, washed and dried.
Grateful my husband and I are getting along much better now, I caused him a lot of pain.
Grateful for a phone call from my daughter.
Grateful for a 'no drama' phone call from my wayward son.
Grateful to phone my mum and she is okay.
Grateful to be here.
Grateful to you all for your kindness and support. xx

Glad to be sat at home in front of the fire with my husband, p.j's on, drinking lemon & ginger tea.

Grateful for another day with Billie taking good care of me in Jack's place. She knows she's the Only Dog and has been loving me so much. Better to drown my sorrows in dog spit than wine.
