Stellablu, I wish I could say the same. I couldn’t pass up a danish pasty. Grateful that it was only one and a small one and I quickly moved on. In college, I bordered on an eating disorder and would sometimes binge. That was a bizillion years ago and I’m grateful that I can now very occasionally enjoy a sweet treat without going overboard. I value my physical and mental health too much to do that to myself. Grateful that I have no interest in trying to go back to alcohol in moderation.
Grateful that I focused on my son’s positive qualities today even though there were a couple difficult moments. He really is a great kid.
Grateful to read about some celebrities with Aspergers. For some reason, this makes me feel better about my son. Maybe he’ll be like Dan Aykroyd. Despite the obsessions and anger, which he’s working in, he’s very smart and very funny and has a warm heart
Grateful to talk to my Dad today. Grateful for our close relationshio. Grateful that he has good medical care and so many friends who love and support him
Grateful for my sobriety, especially in hard times. It strengthens me.

Grateful for a lovely soak in the bath.
Grateful to read your posts.

Daisy belle, thank you for telling me that! Before I knew much about spectrum, I thought it was like a death sentence which is crazy thinking. I realize there’s so much more to it now, including positive traits, that can be strengthened and channeled. My son also does karate! Current obsession is math puzzles. Grateful he might be able to help with my finances in retirement
Grateful that I’m learning that many things that need to be done do not have to be done right now. They can also be broken down into smaller tasks over time.
Grateful my husband took care of some shopping tonight and prepared dinner.

Fearless, it's my youngest live in g.son ( 9yrs)that does the karate and my eldest g.son who is on the Asbergers' spectrum, however karate was the older one's obsession about 18 months ago lol, prior to that his obsession was magic, he also loves mathematics too These Asbie people are very clever so maybe we will both get help with our finances. He's very special and I wouldn't swap him for the world. xx

Grateful to be going to bed sober tonight.
Grateful to have 'other' things in common with you lovely people here.
Grateful to read, enjoy and learn from your posts.
Grateful to buy 4 new books to read from a charity shop, what a bargain.
Grateful my little cats fur is growing again now after her op.
Grateful to be sharing my journey with you all. xx

Grateful to take my mom to the eye doctor late this afternoon to check on her Macular Degeneration, which seems to have stayed the same since last check. Grateful she took me out for Italian food. I love pasta.
Grateful I picked my sister up at the ER, she had a bad reaction to her medicine.
Grateful I'm winding the day down sober. I'm exhausted and have a headache. Grateful for some down time (I hope) now.
Grateful for all of you! You all mean so much to be on this journey with me. ♥♥♥
