Grateful I am sober and was awake early this morning to be there when someone needed me. in a crisis. Grateful I am sober to be available to do a favor for a friend this afternoon.

Grateful for whatever it is out my window that sounds like a foghorn. It may be a foghorn! It always makes me think that I live in a really high-up boat.

My surgeon called and cancelled but I'm grateful he's getting me in Friday, even if it is at the crack of dawn.

Thank you, Hev! With surgeons, you almost have to expect it, I have come to learn, esp if they do trauma work. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get a spot on Fri, for which I am very grateful, otherwise I would have had to wait three weeks. Ugh.
