Morning Gratitude ~ Part 55
Grateful that I am stubborn (I know, right? Lol..if I wasn't this thing might win!)
Grateful for "one day at a time" ("one minute at a time" if need be)
Grateful that I have AA and Al-Anon people in my life
Grateful for SR
Grateful for all of you
Grateful I am searching to be more involved with the HP
Grateful that I can't/won't give up on myself
PS Grateful for all of your words of encouragement. Thank you

Grateful for a week of vacation. Able to sleep in, plan to enjoy our marvelous theatre festival.
Grateful for the smell of coffee in the morning - nothing better!
Grateful for the amazing play my RAD & I saw yesterday. It was a touching tribute from a son to his mother. Although he didn't minimize the pain of growing up with an addicted mom, he saw past that to the love they shared. So powerful, touched both of us deeply!

Grateful for Couch to 5K program and the patient approach to getting my old body back in shape.
Grateful for the return of cool fall air.
Grateful for sobriety and the opportunities it allows me to pursue.

I am so, so grateful I can read fiction again!
Started reading the "Mayor of Casterbridge" last night. It opens with an alcoholic husband who, in an alcoholic pique, auctions off his wife and baby daughter to a sailor.
