So grateful for SR and this beautiful global community that comes together to support and lift each other up, each and every day, without fail.

Gratefull for the families of the past
Gratefull for the tech that keeps us so close when we are so far away.
Gratefull for the meds that help us feel a tiny bit better without being stuck with them...
Gratefull that my Mom is with my younger sister... Know my Mom would rather be at her apartment but don't see that happening again..
Love to you all so many Prayers of hope for a safe weekend for all.ardy

Grateful the last 2 night shifts I worked were quiet. Nice to come home from work with some energy left to do some cleaning before going to bed.

Grateful I'm starting to put my needs first before my RAD. She phoned me at work last night, having a bad bout of PTSD but I didn't drop everything; tried to help her figure out a plan re staying at a friend's place so she wouldn't be alone. Hope it all worked out but I have no control over this, she has to figure out how to help herself. Proud of myself for not stressing out about this for hours.

Grateful I was sober and, not hungover when it happened so, it was much easier to deal with!

jsm273, That's what I was thinking when I read your post about your furry friend getting sick... at least you weren't hungover. My little dog got sick yesterday, he got into some cherries that were on the coffee table.

Have fun at the BBQ today Rusty.

Grateful for an extra hour sleep... just because I wanted too... felt great.
Grateful to feel fully rested and my sleep pattern is getting more consistent.
Grateful for a full today ahead with an open canvas... see what will unfold.
Grateful for the wonderful summer we have had.
Grateful to be sober and intend to say that way.
Grateful for recovery and then many new things we learn along the way.
Grateful for all of you.. and SR.

Grateful to have slept in so late this morning. So nice to feel rested after a very exhausting day yesterday.

Grateful I could be there for my RAD yesterday while she's going through a very rough time.

Grateful I can see she appreciates what I'm able to do for her now unlike a few years ago. Grateful I'm healthier & able to set boundaries with her, not neglect my own needs like I did before.

Grateful that I wake with the sun these days. I've done a long list of chores and now, at 11 on Sunday morning, the rest of the day is mine.

What a difference from pre-sobriety days.
