my gratitude list

I am grateful for my friend rachel and her two sons
I am grateful to be alive
I am grateful to be able to play music
I am grateful to be able to exercise
I am grateful to be able to choose to overcome pain
I am grateful for the times when i am not in a low mood
I am grateful for sleep
I am grateful to be young
I am grateful to be able to laugh
I am grateful to help others
I am grateful that family will help if im in trouble
I am grateful for sobriety, no exceptions

I am grateful for:-

- carol singing today
- the TENS machine which helps with my back pain
- my brother who tries to help in his own particular way
- my customisable desk and chair!
- part time work with Dom which is flexible
- swimming for pain and mood therapy
- volunteering opportunities
- humanities remarkable brainpower
- the potential to make improvements to my quality of life

I am grateful for:
-aa meetings everyday in town
-my immune system being in good working order, colds get short shrift!
-to have recorded drum parts for my favourite band's ep
-to have relative freedom to volunteer
-breathing
-thoughts and knowing which ones to focus on and which ones to ignore
-plentiful food and water
-not having drunk alcohol in 4 years

My good hearing for my age
having been diagnosed with astigmatism in eyes which answers a lot of questions
Boho night

Living in a non fascist state!

Sunny days (lots to come soon hopefully..)
Feet baths!!
Normal baths...
Nhs (if the conservatives don't sell it off)
Physiotherapy
Cooking
Metal music if times get rough (just listen to something positive after to bring myself out of that headspace)
Citalopram(although I'd like to say goodbye to that within 2 years)

Grateful for;
Invitation to an autistic kids birthday at a model train place.
Ability to walk into pubs with confidence in my sobriety now (I do not endorse this)
Other social events not revolved around the pub
Having successfully reduced facebook time (try giving yourself a thirty character binary password and see its effect on motivation to use it!)
Blepharitis has almost completely cleared and dry eyes is improving at a quick rate. I no longer take anti histamine drops
I am reducing pain killers at a good rate and hope to be clear this time next year
