Thanks for the new part Dee!

Even tho it's not technically morning for me yet, I'm still grateful that every morning is a sober morning.

Grateful for the new thread, thanks Dee.
Grateful for a good nights sleep, it doesn't happen often.
Grateful for a good cup of tea.
Grateful I'm the only one up in the house at the moment.
Grateful for peace and quiet.
Grateful to be able to hear the birds singing from where I'm sat.
Grateful that my little cat is curled up beside me.
Grateful that I don't need to go food shopping or any other kind of shopping today.
Grateful to be well and grateful that my family are too.
Grateful to be able to help my daughter.
Grateful that my g.son's school finished yesterday for half term.
Grateful for Autumn colours, the lovely shades of greens, golds and russets.
Grateful that I have enough food in my cupboards and enough clothes to wear.
Grateful for all of you who post here, I feel blessed to be on this journey with you. xxx

Grateful to Dee for the many miracles he works on this site, small and large.
Grateful to be reunited with my ipad and all of you (my daughter ended up with it over at my parents’ house). Didn’t read everything I missed but did read the past couple of pages.
Grateful to hear RZ got many thumbs up from docs.
Grateful to see some new names in the pack.
Grateful for central heating and a/c. My sis and her husband watch Alone, the survival show, and I joined them for some episodes earlier in the week. Makes me get a small taste of how easy we have it not having to hunt for our food or create our heat source, etc. We just press a button and most of the time something happens.
Grateful every rough day at work is a day closer to getting the heck out of there.
Grateful I’ll be here tomorrow to be with my family on what would have been my brother’s 40th birthday. Sad that I won’t be here for my dad’s 70th, and that I have no idea what to get him and realistically not any time to shop.
Grateful the kids are going back to school in person when we get back.
Grateful for the continual warm hug of the Grat pack.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for the weekend - it's finally here!
Grateful I can take a nap later.
Grateful that my younger son and husband are planning to go camping today.
Grateful that my parents are going on a trip with another couple. I do feel responsible for being their social life, so this will be a nice mental break for me too.
Grateful to feel like I'm learning and growing at work.
Grateful for my cozy bed.
Grateful for fall weather.
Grateful to be sober.

Slept in a bit, but still out the door before 6am! Need to make a trip to the grocery store, go for my workout. Its a nice day out and I have some fall garden cleanup, but my desk is looking like a landfill, so I'm picking away at that throughout the day.

Morning gratters! Grateful to see you all here as usual. I’ve been absent on the morning thread last few days. It’s been a crazy week. I will go back and catch up later on your posts.
Grateful to Dee for the new part
Grateful to have slept really well, and in fact I have been last few nights. Been taking extra B12 and magnesium, so not sure that might be helping. Not recommending or endorsing anything here, just my experience so talk to your doctor before you try it 😊
Grateful for coffee
Grateful to have no formal weekend plans. Grateful to be getting out there soon to go for a run and probably a mountain bike ride later. Hoping sonny boy and Mr F will join on the ride.
Grateful for the new app I found which is called Charity Miles. I can do any kind of exercise, log it and a certain amount goes to a charity I choose (of course, I chose Alzheimer’s Association). All funded by organizations partnered with Charity Miles to help others give back while staying fit. What an awesome idea!
Grateful for DF yogurt with blueberries and granola
Grateful to feel alive
Grateful for all of you and love you all!

Grateful for all the energetic positivity here today! Thanks, I needed that.
Grateful that although I woke up at 3am I don't feel exhausted. Ready to do stuff today.
Grateful MrH does most of the cooking.
Grateful to have started some early Christmas shopping.
Grateful my willpower kept me from 'anxiety eating' this past week. Hope the scale shows results.
Grateful to acknowledge I need to work on being judgmental.
Grateful to have you all in my life.

Not a morning nor bedtime gratitude.... maybe half-way through the day???

I've been on a tear at home organizing my desk, files, gear closet, etc. I had a backpack that I hadn't used in a while. Picked it up and it felt a bit heavy. Inside was an empty sherry bottle! Ditched it at the fuel pump about a half hour ago. Felt strangely cleansing, if that makes sense....

Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful we finally get a Chicago Bears game on tomorrow. We get so few here and I love the Bears. RIP Gale Sayers who died last week of Dementia. Awesome Chicago Bear and awesome person. I read his book, I Am Third when I was a kid and remember liking it. So grateful for my Dad and how much fuller he made my life, although he is no longer with us. Still think of him often and still miss him. Grateful he is in a better place.
Grateful for my niece and nephews. My niece just emailed us and told us she is doing a triathlon soon. She's the one who just found out she has Lupus. I'm so proud of her. Those kids are so athletic so naturally.
Grateful for you all. Have a wonderful day.

Woke up around six to make a pot of coffee, laid down for a bit and then up and out the door to the park to do some train watching, then got some fruit and snacks for the family. Home again, have to de-bone a pork roast for dinner. Wife is taking the younger children to Sunday School while I stay home with a sick child.

Thankful to experience what "normies" do: fall asleep because I'm tired, wake up a little later on the weekend, enjoy the effects of a mug of black coffee, appreciate the small things.

God is good.
