Courage: I love your fair city! But I usually come in to hang around and go to museums and galleries. But this trip we are going fancy shmancy. Lol.We are uptown girls this week!! Reminds me of the Billy Joel video with Christie Brinkley. Lol
Grateful that my daughter and I truly enjoy each others company. Grateful her Mother-in-law is helping to watch the toddler while we do this.
Grateful I don't need alcohol to have a good time anymore.

Grateful for good weather forecasted.
Grateful to leave on my trip.
Grateful to be free from the tyranny of alcohol.
Grateful to be trusted to show up and not cancel.... and not be bed bound with a hangover / migraine.

Grateful for my SO giving me a ride to the bus stop
Grateful for time to read and reflect while waiting for the bus
Grateful that I volunteer at a local little farm, and it gives my day some structure
Grateful for eggs, tomatoes, tortillas and coffee for breakfast
Grateful for library books, opening up my world and exposing me to new ideas.

Grateful to have found my way back here this morning after a crazy few weeks of work.
Grateful for the wisdom and serenity I always find here. Helps to ground me & keep me sane when I'm getting overwhelmed with all the changes happening in my life this year.
Grateful the very menacing storm blew over quickly last evening - no power outages or damage done. Bonus to get some moisture for my very dry lawn.

Grateful that I'm beginning to like the taste of soya milk on my porridge rather than rice milk (more protein in soya).
Grateful that our little foster cat seems to be settling in.

Grateful to all of you for helping stay on the sober path. Work is in abundance, buyin all kinds a new junk, keepin money in my pocket, things are FANTASTIC for me for a change, I'm genuinely happy and consciously aware of it. Rootin for everyone.
