I am thankful for ...
- my family
- sobriety for being able to stay up past my bedtime instead of passing out before bed.
- recovery for putting the spiritual realm back on my radar
- recovery for pushing me to endure the friction of trying new things
- the beauty that can emerge from being uncomfortable

- my family

- my family
- the thoughtful, pretty - and completely unexpected - gift I received from a family at work today.
- 4th/5th step work for gently freeing me from the pain, scabs and scars of the past, so I can move forward instead of staying stuck.

I am thankful for ...
- my family
- realizing I can choose how to react to anxiety and panic.
- realizing that my life is my choice, period.
- freedom from long held guilt, humiliation and pain
- opening up to the beauty, kindness and love that surrounds me, and the interesting and unexpected places where it exists.

I am thankful for ...
- my family
- self care, creating time to purchase footwear that will support my injured heel.
- my willingness to look past my preconceived notions, nudge beyond my limits, and explore the possibilities in sobriety.

I thankful for ...
- my family
- spending my last day and a half at work behaving based on principle rather than emotion.
- being honest with myself about my pain and disappointment
- understanding that I am responsible for my happiness
- understanding that my needs are valid and I deserve to be valued
- understanding that my family of origin writing my feelings off as "hysterical" has led me to doubt my feelings, to seek people who deny the validity of my feelings, and run away from people who do.
- understanding that my family of origin treating me as a nonpriority has led me to see myself as non valuable, seek relationships with people who don't value me, and in turn feed the cycle of my personal narrative that I'm not valuable.
- what I have learned
- all the possibilities!

I'm thankful for ...
- my family
- a morning to myself
- self direction replacing codependency
- working towards peace and serenity following a huge tumult of emotions and a growth period, rather than allow depression or isms to wash over me.

I'm thankful for ...
- my family
- my insight, even when it hurts, because it's a glimpse at what is truly me - and from what I can make out, it's beautiful!
- knowing I can get through this handing over my hurt, pain and confusion to my hp for guidance.
- faith that joyous, happy and free will prevail.
- continued growth

I am thankful for ...
- my family
- my recovery, for the tools on how to handle emotionally charged situations, without having to drag other people into my challenges to bolster my confidence
- being able to train with crossfit. It parallels my approach to recovery, using a hybrid of techniques to achieve maximum results.
