Grateful for great ingredients to cook and bake with.
Grateful that the heat will dry my five loads of washing quickly and the linen cupboard will be smelling sweet.
Grateful it's Sunday and I can have some time out.

Today I am grateful that the local river flooding didn't get into my house :-)

Grateful I'm into my sixth week. Yes, sixth! I woke up and said to myself " today I'm going to my first AA meeting"

I'm ready to kick on and begin the self discovery module of my life.

Grateful for the retreat my mom treated me to this past weekend. There was a homeless woman who is staying at the church (I found out on the QT). I could tell she had been drinking. Grateful for the church helping her out, letting her attend the functions, feeding and clothing her and giving her some work and extending some dignity to her. I am remembering her in my prayers. Such a nice woman, fallen on some very hard times. She sat next to me and I got to know her a bit and she was putting on a brave face, but she was a mess. If that doesn't inspire compassion and gratitude, I don't know what would.

Grateful for: There but for the Grace of God go I.

Grateful for everything I have right this minute. Although it isn't much, it's a lot more than a lot of people have. Grateful I have a bed, shower, food, shelter and some clothes. Lots of thanksgiving here today

Have a great rest of the weekend All!

2 years is awesome EQ.

I was told the 1st year is physical, the 2nd mental, and the 3rd is spiritual.

There is great AA on the coast of Maryland. I am sure that you know about sessions by the sea in September. I went there to party without alcohol for the early years of my sobriety.

I can see the smiling faces of old friends who have passed after living happy, joyous, and free for many years.

I am so grateful for every one of us who make it ((((((EQ))))))

This morning I'm incredibly grateful for EQ, two years of sobriety is awesome and a great inspiration for those of us following behind. Your contribution here at SR is always generous and interesting EQ and I'm grateful that you are in my life.

I was told the 1st year is physical, the 2nd mental, and the 3rd is spiritual.
grtgrandpa thank you for this! As I move towards 12 months I can vouch for the first year being physical, I am now looking forward to the second with more to strive for.

This morning I am especially grateful for my fellow gratees, established, returning and new.

Thank you friends. Two years feels really good. Very different from one year. I wonder what a three year anniversary will bring? : )

Grateful for fresh fallen snow that is just pretty and shouldn't impede my commute. (That or I've become desensitized. Lol)
Grateful Rusty is feeling a lil' better.
Grateful to be close to done with cleaning up the messes I made when drinking and can focus on not making more. Lol
Grateful for structure.
Grateful for you!

Grateful for another Monday of retirement, but I have so much to do that I don't know how I ever had enough time to work.
