Naturally grateful for....
Grateful for a peony bush already in bloom today!
It came with the house. I have always wanted peonies.
They are so delicate, full and pink, and look like soft pink lettuce!

Naturally grateful that my red geraniums are still in bloom even tho it's been at least 95 degrees the past few days.
Naturally grateful for the blooms that I see in my neighbor's yard as I look below from my patio, when it's not hot! She has birds feeding in her yard as well.

Naturally grateful
that on the walk I just took with my dog around the lake bend,
the skunk I saw very nearby on the bank
did not see us
and the dog and I scurried away
and were not sprayed!!

Naturally grateful for the long, lovely boat ride we took down the bayous of Louisiana today. Grateful to have seen several white egrets feeding under trees that were covered with Spanish Moss. Everything in my state is so green right now. It's beautiful
Naturally grateful for the gray shimmering pulsating dots on the river surface when it rains. For years I've lived here and it is the most comforting thing. A living, moving, flowing reminder of the gentle power of water and the eternal nature of this planet. Long after humans have been banished, rain will continue to fall on rivers. The earth will move and prosper and carry on as it always has.
Naturally grateful for all posts above! I was feeling out of sorts a bit and reading the posts helped a lot.
Naturally grateful for, while I call, red eucalyptus trees lining the long drive into my Community. It's breathtaking! .
Naturally grateful for my ficus trees still alive. The weather here in San Diego has fluxuated between 50 degrees (night) to 98 degrees. Next week will be the same. The trees are much heartier than I expected.
Naturally grateful for the aloe vera which thrives under most all conditions. The blooms will come soon. Just enjoy the plant yearlong as it is also good to use on sores.
