Naturally grateful for the dancing flames in the fireplace.
Fire is so unique. There's nothing even remotely like it.
In its own way, it's alive.

Grateful to see the first bunny of Spring. (Even though it isn't Spring yet).

Naturally grateful for another bunny sighting at dusk, and no fox sightings! Grateful for the bunny!

Naturally grateful to walk with the dog down to the dock and watch the sunset. The weather was still warm and there was no breeze. I saw and heard a duck do a splash landing on the water. Then it was so still and peaceful. I felt soooo lucky.

Watching a sunrise and a sunset in one day? It doesn't get much better than that.

Naturally grateful for watching the sun rise this morning,
with the dark silhouette of two ducks sailing on the lake,
and while I was staring at that, the fox trotted along the banks at the back of my yard.

The fox stopped, turned toward the lake, sat down, and stared towards the dawn.
I'd like to think he was watching the dawn with me, but I suspect he was eyeing the ducks.

Naturally grateful for the breeze thru my apartment from the patio and the living room screen door.

Naturally grateful for the creek here enjoyed by many. Two ducks appeared to be a "couple" that may bring some baby ducks here. It would be wonderful!!

Grateful for the crazy winds because they are feeding the fire through the flue.

Grateful for the fierce winds on the lake which are making rhythmic crashing waves in beautiful patterns.... looking like hundreds of little oceans.

Naturally grateful to surprise a great blue heron on the lake bank
and get a close up look when he spread his wings
and did his grand glide.
