Naturally grateful for the low hanging neon orange sun at dusk.
The bright orange rays fell on violet clouds....
It was during my drive home I saw it
and the effect was quite magnificent.

Naturally grateful for another morning. For my dog chasing the squirrels. For our world turning and the appearance of the sun moving across the sky.

Yes aren't our dogs great teachers?

Grateful for my dog.... who ecstatically has his nose out the window on the drive to the gas station tonite. He was deliriously happy.

Naturally grateful for seeing a cardinal on a tree that had hints of lacey green around it.

Naturally grateful for seeing a mallard and his lady duck together, swimming along, side by side, just the two of them.

Naturally grateful for the colors of peach and aqua, which look so pretty together.

Naturally grateful for watching a red cardinal in my yard. It clearly and purposely sang its tune, and then stopped and listened. A response tune called out mimicking it. Then, the cardinal briskly took off toward the answering birdsong.

Naturally grateful for seeing butterflies and bees flock to my flowers today.

Naturally grateful for seeing boats floating out on the water.

Naturally grateful for a crisp white full moon.

Naturally grateful for my first spring here, in my new town, sober. The flowering trees are exploding in blooms around the town and their presence keeps surprising me.

Naturally grateful for the moon tonight, which will eclipse, and become a "blood moon" by 3 AM.

Naturally grateful for my dog,
and his spark of energy and loving heart,
which helps me feel connected
when I feel disconnected and lonely.
