Morning Gratitude - Part 37
Grateful for a gorgeous sunny morning of 23 degrees -- celcius.
Grateful for a long walk on the cycleway with my little dog.
Grateful that I am thinking more of others in sobriety -- I'm off to make a Christmas cake for a busy young Mum.
Grateful for an early start to winter. I don't mind the cold, so long as it mostly stays above zero, although the actual air temp right now is only 10 and the wind-chill is hovering around zero (and yes, that's farenheit)...very cold for November.
Grateful for another day sober.
Grateful for another day sober.
Grateful for sitting by the fire, playing mancala with my little ones.
Grateful to accept that sometimes "good enough" really is good enough and I don't have to always expect more than that from myself or others.

Grateful I found SR and all the incredible support here.
Grateful the cold is outside (26 degrees farenheit) and the heat is inside!
Grateful that it IS that cold... because I am off and (thank goodness) have no obligations so I can be my homebody self today.
Grateful it's not the old days, when planned around the weather to make sure I never ran out of alcohol (so I wouldn't go into withdrawal.)
Grateful to not be beholden.
Grateful Venus's headache is gone... and she can be encouraged by having an interview. (((Venus good luck!)))

Ye gods -- I was gonna be grateful that it's not too cold in NYC but checked the temps and it's 25 fahrenheit with a windchill making it feel like 9 degrees -- better than Wisconsin, yes, but still chilly.
I'm grateful I'm still indoors (for a while)!

Grateful for the central heating here, though I know that other places are much colder!
Grateful for my lovely lie-in this morning.
Grateful for my gorgeous partner who I love to bits.

Grateful to wake up sober & this is morning 7 of being cigarette-free! :-O
Grateful the relapse that occurred yesterday was very low-drama. Still sucked for everyone involved, but nothing (additionally) terrible happened
Gratefully my baby sister and I get to hang out and go crazy with make-up for one of her TAFE assignments today
Grateful for cuddles with the boy yesterday <3
Have a lovely day, gratties!
Xx

Grateful to be sober, energetic and hangover free this morning so I can take Mr Marcher to minor day surgery without me being a drag on everyone.
Grateful for dollars saved from not drinking which I can spend today -- a pleasant way to spend the waiting time.
Grateful for SR every day.

The thing that I did best before I retired 22 years ago was job interviews.
The key to getting the job is knowing that you are the greatest and the interviewer would be crazy not to see that.
venuscat I know that you are the greatest, and I couldn't imagine anyone not jumping at the chance to give you the job. We've got your back so go get the job.

Grateful for all of your love and good wishes
But life is life, and my dad had an accident (he is 92) and we are at the hospital, so interview had to be rescheduled...
Grateful the woman was so understanding
Love and hugs,
V xx

Maybe this event is the respite you need to get ready for the interview
There are no big deals for we recovering drunks
God has a plan and it is just as well that we don't know what it is ahead of His time for us
Your time at the hospital is part of your learning experience
I can feel your pain
Take care of you cause you are worth it ((((((V))))))
We are grateful for our spiritual connection with you today
