Grateful for a good night's sleep and waking up first to enjoy the morning's quiet.
Grateful for increased clarity about my drinking, especially that there is no more room for it in my life.
Grateful for that strange and unfamiliar feeling that sobriety brings - the feeling that maybe, just maybe, it might be a good thing to take care of my responsibilities rather than ignore them.

Grateful that although i'm sick and it's coincided with *ahem* lady things, I don't have anything critical to attend to, like work or study. I'm hoping to make a meeting tonight, but i'm playing that one by ear!
Grateful I can afford the taxi fare back from the supermarket
Grateful my head is pretty quiet in spite of feeling rotten!

In that same vein, I'm grateful for my Kuerig and sugar free pumpkin spice creamer.
I'm grateful for early mornings with the pets when they're still sleepy and cute.
Grateful for dance lessons!
