Grateful I feel a bit better than I did yesterday ~ that level of depression scared me badly.

Happy Thanksgiving, a day for family, friends, gratitude, food, eating AA mtg. at 6 am then prepare for the children and grandchildren and the hugs and the kisses and the love.
A sunny day today for a walk in the park clean and sober for 27 years and nicotine free and faithful to my wife. Recovery, what a gift.

Grateful I woke up this morning and have a roof over my head clothes on my back, a job, my loving cat, Merlin, my husband and very very grateful for everyone who here on SR is helping me on this road of sobriety. It's great to be alive
