Yeah but they've only got music on ONE SIDE! Grateful that an old guy like me can adapt to change.

Rule 62 in action, eh? Are you talking about how ridiculous I made what my brother said sound? Or the quadcopter ad? Now, that WAS funny.

Grateful for a fun safe bike ride today. I felt so crappy last night and earlier today, but I knew I would feel better if I got out and active. Glad I could push myself enough to get out (it was a gorgeous day) without further hurting my knee. I'm getting better at achieving this kind of balance. Cool!

And grateful for hot herbal tea.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Oh, and EQ, I meant to say you're welcome. I've really been practicing staying in the moment and NOT missing things lately. It is really helping me enjoy and appreciate life much more. Really!

Grateful I went window shopping inside a nice furniture store today. A girl's gotta dream....

Grateful I at least did a couple things on my list. Once I stepped out of the duel that goes on in my head, I was able to let go and do what the higher version of me directed me to do.

Grateful for a functioning washer and dryer. I've spent a lot of time in laundramats and this is nice to fold clothes in my own living room.

Grateful for the first time in weeks I didn't have to worry about whether my car would function or not. Phew.

Grateful the world keeps turning despite my own personal dramas.

Grateful for the beautiful rain that has been pouring down for two days.
Grateful for a longish much needed afternoon nap.
Grateful to find two tiny appliances today quickly and for the right price.

Grateful that we all had some family time together yesterday, and grateful the grandkids had so much fun.

Grateful for naps when we all got worn out.

Thank YOU and you're welcome, Alysheba! But, as RZ pointed out, it's HER journey, as I am actually a chick.

Grateful my experience, strength, and hope seems to help people. Who'd have thunk?

Thanks Ipanema. Grateful your former H and fam are okay too. The supertyphoon damage is truly horrifying in pictures alone. And the missing and dead, well obviiously, it is all really unspeakable... certainly gives one pause when it comes to gratitudes, doesn't it?

Anyway, having said that:

Grateful also for all the veterans and their families.

Grateful that tonight's veterinarian visit went well. The dog has regained a pound in just a week (he's now a whopping 22lbs). Grateful the vet gave me lots of ideas and also medicine and special food etc. (He has been biting himself in lots of spots and agitated). Started tonight with a "plug in" that excretes the phernomes of a nursing mommy dog. We can't smell it but dogs can and my dog definitely could. It calms the dog and makes him a little more appeasing and it really helped him calm down. Also grateful I called a dogwalker today (to walk him a couple days a week when im at work) and she's coming over to meet my dog thursday. I feel guilty he no longer has his big fenced yard to run and play in.... but we are going to find ways to compensate. I can't be truly happy with my move until he is. Poor little guy.

Grateful I am addressing my problems and that I am working on patience and acceptance. Sure beats drinkin'!!

Grateful for a nice Monday afternoon, just getting some chores done. Grateful that having some down time does not immediately involve drinking like it used to.

To EQ,

I appreciate you're Gratitude statement: Working on Patience and Acceptance.

It came at just the right time for me today..I was struggling with something personally about Acceptance...regarding family issues..working to accept the things I cannot change..and change the things I can. Thanks EQ! God Bless You.

I was getting ready to make a call to someone about someone and decided it's not going to change anything one tiny bit and let it go.

Wow Ipanema that's powerful.

Grateful my dog is calmer tonight but still with lotsa spunk. And his skin is definitely less red.

Grateful that even though tonight I learned the bus trip my sister and I were taking to nyc got canceled, that she still wants to visit and is staying over Friday. Grateful for a chance for us to bond in my new home and with me sober.

Grateful another sister sent me a picture of her sunset tonight.

Grateful my boss and I made an effort with each other today. Tis the season. Lol.

Grateful for all of you and all the grat threads. Makes such a difference in my life. Xxoo
