Grateful for releasing. Finally cried last night...for close to 2 hours. I needed to. Finished my 4/5th Step today and burned it this evening. Am also clearing a lot of stuff off my computer. Glad I am purging in a good way today.

And grateful for taking it easy on myself. I didn't even get in the car today 'cause my shoulder's mest up. Glad I know things can wait!

Grateful my sister is here visiting. My first houseguest.
Grateful tonite when traffic backed up causing me to be even later... and home just in time to find my dog didn't make it till I got home,.... I took it in stride.. I know I have solutions in place for the commute issue.... and the dog ....and all will be well.

Grateful my daughter is very excited about all she is learning in school.
Grateful two other sisters took my Dad home to his house and will tend to him this weekend.
Grateful I like my home ....and I'm the one who lives here... so that's what counts.

And grateful I finally made it back to an NA meeting today. It was a book study of a book I hadn't ever even seen before. I also called an old NA friend I've had a rocky relationship with. Glad to let go of old fears, judgments, and resentments, and start rebuilding friendships.

Grateful that I've come far enough to let the AV in my head just pass on by and not take hold. Grateful for hard work and to be starting something new, to be serving and hoping I can rise to the challenge. Grateful I can think of it as a challenge, acknowledge the difficulty and let that pass too. Grateful to read the playful posts here to remind me, yes, it's serious, but it's ok to not be so serious! Greatful back on SR Website after a big mess with my password.
Greatful for peace and quiet this am after all the Lacrosse screaming yesterday. It was a wonderful but very noisy day.

Did you hear the one about the alcoholic who went into a bar, ordered two drinks in a row, and only drank the second one the barkeep poured? The bartender asked what the deal was. The alcoholic said he'd been to AA and was told not to take that first drink!

Grateful to be the answer to someone's prayers...according to her even! I spent a good while hanging out with the "difficult" friend I was talking about and we were both very grateful to reconnect. It was beautiful!

And grateful for making "Rainbow Splatter" cupcakes with the kids in the substance abuse program where I volunteer. I appreciate their energy and enthusiasm always.
