Grateful for a fantastic night of sleep, and for another morning free of aches and pains.

Even thou I am in a sad place. And my head and heart hurt..

Grateful that I dont have to think a drink will make it better.. Feels like I am at day 5-30 , just have to take it one minute at a time.. And one second if I have to.. I can not pick up the drink even thou I have not wanted to so badly in quiet some time.

Grateful that I remembered my morning gratitude, even tho' is after noon!
Grateful that the videoconference I'm doing all day is going smoothly.
Grateful that I'm sober & not strung out, unlike the condition I was in last year at this same event.

Grateful that I feel increasingly "safe" within myself. It's not a ticket to becoming complacent, I'm just astounded that the desire to drink has been lifted!

Grateful that pride seems to have taken a back seat-if I'm unsure of anything, It's almost a learned reflex to pick up the phone and call my sponsor or another member

Grateful that cherry coke zero was invented....yum.....new "poison"

Grateful that while the day seems to hold really blah plans, just how productive/enjoyable my day will be really doesn't have to hinge on that

Have a great day, fellow gratties!

Xx

Grateful for a good morning attitude, it is better for me to hunt for the good, than grumble about things i cannot instantaneously improve.
Grateful for little happies and comforts, i never want to take them for granted. Things could be and have been much worse.
Grateful for routine and that i have one.

Grateful that while the dog did his duty, I scraped off the car. Better I do this early in my pajamas then later be taken by surprise that I need to do it last minute in work clothes.

Grateful I ate some cereal with soy milk. I usually don't eat till I get to work.

Grateful the person who called out sick yesterday will be here today.

Grateful I am not sick.

Grateful for the little space heater I keep in the bathroom and bedroom so I don't have to crank up the heat in the house only to turn it all down and go.

Grateful for at least trying for a good attitude adjustment. I didnt sleep much but whenever I woke up with negative thoughts I replaced them with more empowering ones. Even though I don't believe it maybe my subconscious will.

Grateful I am not using drink to cope.

Grateful that last nights emergency turned out not to be life threatening. Husband in ER. Woke up at 3:00 am with chest pains. Tests came back showing everything fine except his blood sugar. Dr gave him a shot of insulin. He is seriously dehydrated. Not great news but not the worst either

(( )) Big hugs Escapist, sounds like you had a traumatic day. I hope your husband is feeling much better today.

This morning I am grateful that I was orginised enough last night to get all my work clothes ready for today.

I am grateful that I left home early enought to avoid the heavy traffic this morning.

I am grateful that my journey to work is a short one.

I am grateful to be able to share and post on S.R

I am grateful to be here, alive and well.

I am grateful that I could here birds singing when I got up this morning.

I am grateful that the weather has warmed up slightly and the snow from yesterday has all melted.

I am grateful that my husband has put the cot in the attic at long last and it is no longer in my way. I'm also grateful that he has fixed the gate in the yard as the wind blew it off its hinges.

Grateful i did a lot of little chores last night to make this morning easier. I was inspired by EQ's multi tasking yesterday in her pajamas!
Grateful it is hump day, get to work and get it done, get home!
Grateful for keeping an outlook that is realistic, but remembering to plan for the future is important and a positive action too....can't predict future happiness, but a solid base financially eases my stress.

Grateful that SR and the Morning Gratitude crew are still here even though I haven't been for a few weeks. It's been crazy busy for me and I haven't made time in the morning to be grateful.
