Grateful they just took my daughter back for surgery! She was bumped back due to another case, and my nerves were getting frayed waiting. Grateful she has a good surgeon.....I am praying for him, as well as my daughter. Grateful to be sober. Last Dec she had surgery and it was hard to not drink wine for he five days she was in the hospital .....so ashamed to admit that

Sorry for the long grat........a wee bit nervous....especially when the resident told us how much pain she will be in when she wakes up Grateful we're on the path to recovery.

PL, it's going to be fine....lots of times cases get bumped due to a trauma that comes in or an emergency surgery.

sending you my best thoughts for your dear daughter. try to relax and get something to drink, (its so dry in the hospital with the heat)

Grateful I crawled on the floor and meow'd and acted like a cat to my cat.
Grateful I crawled to the fridge to get something to eat.
Grateful I just crawled into bed.
Oh heavens. I'm seeing a pattern here.

Grateful to let my weirdness come out, as long as it doesn't hurt me, someone else, or is too obscene.

Grateful for Recovery Programs

I am in awe of how many people around the world have embraced recovery and changed their lives; and, in doing so, they have made so many family members happy that they did.

We are all blessed by those who embrace life.

Without even knowing how "down" I was feeling this week, my son sent me a video clip of 3 young opera singers performing a piece ( in Italian ) that told their mothers how very much they loved them. I don't speak Italian, but I understood every word.

"Grateful" doesn't even begin to describe how I am feeling today!

PL, you and your daughter are in my prayers.

Grateful that after today I get a day off.
Grateful that I have a plan with a friend for my day off to see a movie.
Grateful another friend wants to see a movie on the weekend.
Grateful for movies!
Grateful my life is no longer like a pathetic Lifetime Women's Movie.

Grateful to treat myself to seeing a movie once a week the last 4 weeks, seeing Argo, Skyfall, Flight, Lincoln.

Grateful I can go to the show and see a movie by myself and enjoy my own company.

Grateful I don't have to get concessions like pop and popcorn when I see movies.

Grateful I got over two misconceptions that I had for years: A) In order to see a movie, I have to go with someone else. B) When I go to the movies, I have to get a large diet Pepsi and a medium popcorn.
