Grateful for this here forum! In days past, I only visited here to comfort and console myself during times of shame, pity and hangoveredness. These days, I visit on a regular basis out of a sense of developing sensible, healthy and rewarding (yet comforting still) routines.

Lately, I've been blessed that distant family members, that I've never met, are contacting me and coming to visit this month. These are relatives from my mother's and my father's sides.

My website is working the way I intended! Yes!

I've got a birthday coming up next month and I'm worried because birthdays usually mean trouble for me. As do the Christmas holidays. This year, I'll try to "tie myself to the mast" so to speak, and prepare for this period of vulnerability.

Today, I'm grateful for the hope and possibility that someday in the near future, I will have the means to get out of this rut that I've been in.

Grateful today for not picking up that first one. Also grateful for the comfortable weather, it has a "fall" feel to it.

Hi Steve -

I like the phrase "It takes a village" because this village sure has helped me too!

Good to see you and I hope that you'll post more pics of your cute kitty

Just passing by "the village". Glad that it is here and up and running. I don't want to take it for granted because the other day, it wasn't and I felt kind of isolated.
