Thankful today because ...

I am grateful today for many things, but mostly, that Dieter actually moved. He was sleeping so hard that I thought he was deceased.

I wish I could sleep like that!

Another debt of Gratitude ...

Grateful for having some outside work lined up this afternoon. I just hope the weather holds out!

BTW - The results of Dieter's "cat" scan while he was sleeping came back today.

Here is the image;

Oh, oh! Football season is about here and that is a gigantic warning sign! Plus with my birthday in a couple of weeks I am thinking about locking myself in solitary confinement somewhere for the next 6 months.

Grateful to be worrying about relapse instead of detox.

I guess I'm grateful that I don't have to worry about the income thing because I basically have no visible means of income. Money is the root of all MY evils so until I get some lengthy sobriety in, I'll just stick to ekeing it out with my menial subsistence doing monotonous, labor intensive tasks.

twilli59, tomorrow is Wednesday, hopefully you'll use that income wisely.

Take care!

I haven't got a sponsor yet. Perhaps because I haven't been pursuing it actively enough and/or the right relationship just hasn't fallen in place. I do need a sponsor to move forward.

This site is definitely an asset.

Thanks to all here,
Steve

stead, a good sponsor will help you to find,

develop, and grow in the realtionship with your Powers That Be

you will find one.

suggestion, when at a meeting, "listen" for your sponsor

Grateful today because ...

I am grateful because I am not currently going through what so many SR visitors seem to be going through as I read through the daily posts. Thank goodness for this sounding board to find support, beneficial feedback and alleviate some of the distress that is running rampant.

I'm also thankful for a job lined up starting tomorrow, perhaps this could mean a bridge to some brighter days ahead.

Thanks all of you here at SR, not only for me but for all of the suffering who need you.

Grateful for a FULL day of work, in fact, too full - I'm beat! Also, thankful for Dieter and a cool front moving in. Life could be a lot worse!
