Tonight I am grateful for a supportive friend.
I talked to an old friend tonight and he was 100% behind helping me get sober. He said all the right things, and the timing couldn't have been better. Thank you.

Grateful my son has just learned how to make tea.
Grateful he delights in making me many cups...grateful the bathrooms close by.
Grateful to be sleepless without the sense of impending doom today.
maybe it was all those cups of tea..

Grateful for day five of sobriety. Grateful for a chance to get it right - finally! And of course always always grateful to God for giving me these two loving dogs to care for and love. They keep me grounded. I need to be sober to take proper care of them, and God is helping me thru my dogs and my friends, here and in 'real life'. I am grateful I can realize that I should count my blessings, as I really do have a lot of blessings.
